What Is My Kiehl’s Rewards?

The premise of My Kiehl’s Rewards is straightforward. According to Bair, the program rewards customers with points for nearly “everything you do in-store [and online].” She adds, “whether you’re [stocking up on your favorite product, buying something new or getting a skin consultation,” you’ll be able to earn points. Those points can then be exchanged for a range of benefits, including skincare freebies and vouchers. There are three different tiers in the rewards program based on how many points you’ve accrued, and each tier boasts different benefits. What Can You Exchange Your Points For?

Once you’ve earned points, you can exchange them for freebies, Kiehl’s branded merchandise, or vouchers, Vasquez says—the choice is yours. If you choose to use your points on vouchers, you’ll earn a $10 off voucher for every 100 points you exchange. You can use up to five vouchers at once (for a total of $50 off), and Vasquez says that they even can be stacked with other in-store promotions and sales for more savings. If you’re unsure what to spend your points on, consult a Kiehl's Skin Pro—as Bair says, “we're always here to assist our customers.” Vasquez notes that in addition to helping you choose what products to get, Kiehl's Skin Pros can also show you how to redeem your points online, so you don’t need to shop in-store every time.

You can also exchange your points for travel or full-sized products from the My Kiehl’s Rewards catalog, as well as Kiehl’s “swag” (Bair says you might discover “some really cool apparel options”). Though neither of our experts could dish on exactly what will be available in the catalog as offerings may change, you can expect to find an array of Kiehl’s customer favorites.

How Should I Use My Kiehl’s $10 Reward?

Milk-Peel Gentle Exfoliating Toner

You can spend your Kiehl’s voucher (or vouchers) on whatever you want—there are no limitations. For his part, Vasquez says he’d likely put his rewards toward buying Milk-Peel Gentle Exfoliating Toner, which he calls a “gamechanger for me,” adding, “I always have two or three bottles on backstock because I just love it that much.” The unique toner, which contains lipo-hydroxy acid and 23% emollients, gently exfoliates the skin while replenishing moisture levels for a more hydrated, refined appearance. All Kiehl’s rewards members will be treated to a free Lip Balm #1 on their birthday, regardless of how many points they have. This moisturizing lip balm—a Kiehl’s favorite for more than 60 years—contains squalane (“really great for replenishing the skin’s natural moisture,” Bair notes) as well as vitamin E. According to Vasquez, the iconic lip balm “does a good job of hydrating long-term throughout the day.”

But that’s not where the gifting ends. Tier one members—also known as “Extra” tier members—will also receive a deluxe-sized skincare, body care, or haircare product. The next tier (named the “Super” tier) will be gifted two deluxe samples in addition to the lip balm, while the highest tier (“Everest”) will be rewarded with three deluxe samples, plus the lip balm.
