Our loyalty program has been around for some time, but we are changing it to better suit you, our consumer. We are giving it a fresh new look and feel, with new tiers but keeping the same exclusive benefits and bigger, (and, if we’re being honest, better) rewards with each new iteration. Whether you’re a longtime Kiehl’s fan or a relative newcomer, you can join our rewards program to score deals, discounts, and gifts throughout the year. It’s our way of saying thank you to our customers.

Here, we’ll give you the rundown on the new My Kiehl’s loyalty program, how it works, and how you can join. Read on to discover the various Kiehl’s membership benefits you can score when you become a part of the Kiehl’s family.

What Is the My Kiehl’s Loyalty Program?

The purpose of the Kiehl’s rewards program is simple: Giving back. When you sign up for the program (which you can do in-store at checkout or online here), you’ll automatically start to earn one point for every dollar spent at Kiehl’s. So, for example, if you buy a 1.7oz jar of our best-selling Ultra Facial Cream with Squalane ($38), you’ll automatically score 38 points. A jumbo-sized bottle of our ultra-luxurious Midnight Recovery Concentrate ($135), meanwhile, will net you 135 points (and that’s before you even buy anything else).

The program also rewards you beyond making a purchase. For example, if you refer a friend to the Kiehl’s family, it will be a nice 25 points per referral bonus. — more on that shortly. And if you ever need to get an in-store or virtual skin consultation, let your Kiehl’s Customer Representative know beforehand that you’re a member: For up to four consultations, you’ll get 25 points just for participating.

What Are the My Kiehl’s Rewards Levels?

The My Kiehl’s loyalty program itself has three tiers; the number of points you’ve earned annually determines which tier you fall under. Those with under 100 points are in the Extra tier. Having between 100 and 299 points puts you within the Super tier, and once you’ve reached 300 points (or more!), you become an Evert tier member. The higher the tier, the more benefits you’ll get. For example, those within the mid-higher tiers will gain early access to Kiehl’s sales and special events throughout the year. Highest level Everest-tier members also get free ground shipping on every online order—no minimum required.

How Do I Redeem My Kiehl’s Points?

Once you’ve accumulated 100 points, you can start swapping those points for Kiehl’s rewards. Your first option is using your points on gift vouchers. It’s straightforward: you can receive a $10 gift voucher for every 100 points you exchange, and there’s no limit to how many points you can turn in. You can also opt to exchange your points for Kiehl’s products or merchandise from the My Kiehl’s Rewards catalogue. The products you’ll be able to redeem your points for will vary depending on availability but expect to find some of our customer favorites. You can redeem your points in-store or online at checkout by providing the email address you used to sign up.

How Do I Refer a Friend to My Kiehl’s?

Once you’re a member of the Kiehl’s loyalty program, you’ll be able to log in to your account online to track how many points you have, check your order history and payment methods, and manage your shipping information. Also on your account home page will be a tab that says, “refer a friend.” To refer someone to Kiehl’s Rewards, open that tab.

You can choose whether you want to do your referral via email, text, or social media. Pick whichever option works best for you, and you’ll be given a special link that your friend (or family member) can use to sign up for the Kiehl’s rewards program. Once they sign up, your referral bonus—25 points—will automatically be added to your Kiehl’s Rewards balance.

Does Kiehl’s Do a Birthday Gift?

No rewards program is complete without the promise of a birthday gift, and at Kiehl’s, we’ve got you covered. That said, what you get for your Kiehl’s birthday gift will vary depending on your rewards tier: The more points you’ve earned, the bigger the gift.

Lip Balm #1

For those in the Extra tier, your birthday gives you the chance to score one free deluxe skincare sample along with a full-sized tube of Lip Balm #1, a classic unisex lip balm made with vitamin E and olive-derived squalane. If you’re in the Super tier, you’ll get an extra deluxe skincare sample in addition to the previous two gifts mentioned. And those in the highest tier—the Everest tier—will receive one travel-sized product and three deluxe samples from the My Kiehl’s Rewards catalogue. These freebies won’t cost you any points whatsoever, and they provide a great way for you to stock up on travel-friendly versions of your favorite Kiehl’s products. Happy birthday!
