Question How do I use this product in conjunction with the Ultra Facial Cream?

• Answer I use abyssine cream at night by itself. Sometimes if I have been out in the wind or sun or in a dry place, I use it in the morning and put the ultra facial cream with SPF 15 on top. This seems to be a good combination in moisturizing and also gives a clear look to my skin. I have been using the ultra facial cream for 16 years and abyssine cream for about 5 years. Question I have a very sensitive skin and easily break out, can I use this Abyssine cream?

• Answer Hi, I also have sensitive skin and the Abyssine doesn't sting it irritate my skin. I do not have oily skin, but it has not caused me to break out. It isn't greasy and absorbs inti the skin immedietly. by carrie e 05/03/12
• Answer My skin is sensitive only in that I tend towards rosacea but not breakouts. Since I started using this cream a few weeks ago, my skin looks younger and more even toned. I am 79!! Question I tried a sample of this cream with spf, and I literally... you guys have NO idea it might have changed my life... Is this the same in terms of consistency? I feel like minus the spf it'd be a little more versatile (day or night)

• Answer Seems to me the creams are almost identical. That's something Kiehl's does so well--sneaks in the SPF without changing the product. I really love the cream, but I've been using the Abyssine Lotion (SPF 15) for awhile. It lasts longer for me. I use it for daytime and Rosa Arctica for nighttime. (The Rosa Arctica takes care of my need for luscious cream.) If you don't need the SPF, I'd just get the one without. SPF is a great bonus in such a terrific cream, though, if you DO need one. Just FYI, the Abyssine Lotion is truly more of a lotion than a cream. Not as luxurious, but I don't use as much and just re-apply it as I need to during the day. So if you really love the cream, stick with that! by Janet G 04/28/12

• Answer I recommend this cream to any one over 30. I have been using this cream since 2005 and absolutely love it. I wear contacts and it does not creep. It is light going on and staying, but very powerful. You see the results in your skin rather quickly. I would not be with out this cream for anything. I am currently running out of my "stock" and getting ready to replenish. I usually buy 2-3 at a time. You will not be sorry. I also recommend the eye cream and the serum of the same line. I have tried their marine line, but I have not been as happy. The Abyssine line is phenomenal, by the way I am 60 years old and when I go to have my facials done, they usually tell me my skin is that of a 30 to 40 year old. It works great on reducing my crows feet at night. It works great with the Midnight Recovery Concentrate, well at least on my face.

I have used this pretty consistently over the past 5 years. I just turned 40 and constantly get comments from people saying my skin doesn't show my age. I have tried other (more expensive) creams, and they made my skin dull or dry. I live in a northern climate, and this cream is the only one I have found that combats winter skin, and does it beautifully!

Nothing else works as well. It's not really moisturizing enough - so I have to use more (I just bought this 2 weeks ago at Halls on The Plaza) but it really does lift skin.
