Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply, the best shampoo money can buy I've tried a number of Tea Tree products, and have liked many. But ever since I was introduced to Kiehl's in 1997, I have rarely tried anything else and have been abysmally disappointed in comparison to this shampoo. Not only do you get amazing, clean hair and scalp without stripping and over-drying, but it feels amazing and smells great too. I like the consistency of the shampoo; it's thin and you don't need to use much to get a lot of lather. When I've gone without (yes, it's happened since moving from NYC), I never feel like my hair is as clean and fresh. If you haven't tried this product, you're missing out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from clean and fresh This is the only shampoo that my husband will use. At time I have gone to the website to order more and found that there is a waiting period-temporarily out of stock. The only reason I can figure is that we are not the only ones who love it. Great scent-clean and not too fragrant. Good suds to feel like any styling product is out. Nondrying, I use it on color treated hair and my husband loves it on his fine, normal to oily hair. Not too strong for everyday users. This is one of our favorite Kiehl's products and we have been using it for years-tried other shampoos but keep coming back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from CLEAN!!! Ok, I have the worst time with shampoos. I have oily LONG hair, that can be a beast. I tried the no poo method (don't recommend it) until finally I broke down, and tried Kiehl's hair products. I have had the BEST luck with their facial line, and figured it was time to just see if their hair product line lived up to the results of their skincare. I washed my mane yesterday, and it smelled amazing, looked amazing, and somehow it seems to look even better today! Shiny, easy to get a comb through, hydrated, and smooth. Thank you Kiehls!!!! Smells great too!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ingredients have changed! Beware! I have used the tea tree oil shampoo for years and the large bottle I bought in January 2013 however has a stickier texture and very different smell, no hint of tea tree oil scent. Then I discovered that a large portions of the ingredients have changed. The picture on the website right now still shows the old ingredients. I list a few of the new ingredients here (please excuse typos as these chemicals have very complex names): sodium laureth sulfate citric acid glycerin aminomethyl propanol cocamidopropyl betaine panthenol sodium chloride hexylene glycol glyceryl laurate sodium benzoate propylene glycol PEG-55 Propylene Glycol oleate salicylic acid polyquaternium-10 linalool melaleuca alternifolia oil/te tree leaf oil ... It's very hard to compare these two lists but it seems to me that there is a much longer list of chemical ingredients and shorter list of oil extracts. The shampoo made from the new formula does not smell the nice scent of tea tree oil. It also has a stickier texture. Overall I don't feel it cleans as well as before. Buyers beware!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from THE INGREDIENTS ARE NOT AS THE PICTURE SHOWED ON WEBSITE AFTER I RECIEVED THE NEW SHAMPOO I NOTICED THE NEW INGREDIENTS, WHICH IS KIND OF DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THE NEW VERSION IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE OLD ONE! IT CONTAINS SLS WHICH IS A STRONG AND STIMULUS FORMULA, AND THOSE NATURAL OIL EXTRACT HAS DECREASED.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it but it is not sodium sulfate free I love the product however I wish that ALL your products were sodium sulfate free! Especially since Khiels is known for being a apothecary and products being natural . I was a little disappointed to find out your products still contain sulfates ! I love it but I probably would not buy it again !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite shampoo ever This is my absolute favorite shampoo. I have thick hair with an oily scalp and this shampoo makes my hair feel nice and clean without being overly drying. It gives my hair great body and bounce. It's got an amazing scent, and I agree with a previous reviewer about the texture. It's thin but lathers up really great. I used to buy it at Nordstrom, but they told me this product was being discontinued. I was so sad and switched to the Rice and Wheat shampoo hoping for the same results. It doesn't lather very well and my hair just didn't feel as clean. Anyway, good news is that Kiehl's confirmed it's not being discontinued (perhaps Nordstrom is just choosing to no longer stock it -- no idea why they would do that). I am buying two extra bottles just in case!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THE SMELL of this! Shampoos are very hard for me to find because of my hair! I tend to find something that does not dry my scalp. I stay away from medicated shampoos for this reason but also find the pricey ones are not the best either. TEA TREE OIL is great. I love the way it feels and makes my hair feeling and looking great. It's a bit on the pricey side especially for the size of bottle but not sure it's intended for every day use! I recommend it. I love it.
