This October, Kiehl’s LifeRide for Breast Cancer, Benefitting The Brem Foundation, is a 3-day motorcycle ride from Richmond, VA to Washington, D.C., to raise funds and awareness for early detection and prevention of breast cancer. The ride, led by Kiehl’s President Chris Salgardo, with riders Gilles Marini, Katee Sackhoff and Anthony Carrino, will benefit The Brem Foundation, a DC-based breast cancer nonprofit focused entirely on early detection. The Brem Foundation’s mission is to maximize every woman’s chances of finding an early, curable breast cancer, by educating women about their risk factors and screening options, providing access to diagnostic tests for low-income women, and funding the only breast-imaging training program that includes community-service.

In 2017, we teamed up with Bright Pink to launch our Kiss for the Cure campaign, and created our Limited Edition Butterstick Lip Treatment Duo. For every Duo sold, 100% of net profits were donated to Bright Pink — resulting in a $25,000 donation to the nonprofit.

2017 also saw the inaugural Kiehl’s LifeRide for the Mammovan, which transformed our popular LifeRide for amfAR event into a two-day motorcycle ride that benefits the GW Medical Faculty Associates mobile mammography program, a vehicle that provides D.C. area women with life-saving breast cancer screenings. Raised to date: $235,000.
