Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clears Overnight I am so grateful for this product. I get hormonal cystic acne monthly and dabbing this on my spots clears them up quicker than any other product I've tried. Most acid based products like salicylic stop working after awhile and I was skeptical to try this sulfur based one but so glad I did. I recommend to anyone who normal acne treatments stop working for after a few months,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used it for years and LOVE I have used this product for over 4 years and have never even thought of using anything else, It helps get rid of pimples and even potential pimples. When I see the beginnings of a pimple sprouting I immediately put a dab of this on the spot and poof It's gone overnight. I legit recommend it to everyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THIS REALLY WORKS! Whenever I have huge pimples I just leave this on overnight and I find that the pimple immediately shrinks the next day! Absolute dream!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is just junk This product is worthless. You apply it to a spot of acne and it just sits on your skin. It doesn't soak in. Hours later it is still wet and gooey sitting on the surface of your skin. I've been using this for 4 days and it has made zero impact on the acne spot. Kiehl's should really just not bother putting out an acne product. They had the best one once...the blue spot treatment...but they ruined that one too. When is Kiehl's going to listen to the customers and bring back the old that worked? It's been a few years already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does not work Product does not work at all. I've been using it for a few weeks now thinking that it would take some time however no luck. With all the negative reviews I'm unsure of why this product is still even on the market. Would love for the company to refund me or provide me a different product to try. This is going in the garbage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works pretty well I use this almost every night and when I put it on a pimple or zit, the next morning a lot less visible. It’s not the best acne treatment but it seems to do the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Replacement for a Product! I purchased this as I had no choice but to do so after Kiehl's replaced the Salicylic Acid based acne spot treatment I LOVED using and was VERY EFFECTIVE. That product that was replaced is located here: https://www.kiehls.com/acne-blemish-control-daily-skin-clearing-treatment/735.html?dwvar_735_size=1.0%20fl.%20oz.%20Tube This product on the other hand smells horribly like sulfur. And it continues to make your skin stink like sulfer even after you have washed it off with soap. Your pillow will absorb the smell when you lay your head on it at night and stink like it for days after as well. I just don't understand why companies need to discontinue good products only to replace them with something inferior. Change for change's sake? If it ain't broke don't fix it. Perhaps Kiehl's wasn't selling enough of the previous product. I think it is probably because of poor marketing and advertisement. All I know is that it worked and it worked well. Salicylic acid is a PROVEN acne killer, commonly used as the active ingredient across many competitive brands. Kiehl's had mixed up a super effective formula with the other compounds included in that product. Would at least like an explanation as to why they think this is better and who the test subjects were that confirmed this? I called the main company line today in the hopes that Kiehl's really still is an apothecary that could mix up a batch of this stuff and sell to me, but no that was not an option. Only manufactured goods on the website are available. All in all, I like Kiehl's as a company. They're nice people and they tend to make good products. Just annoyed that something GREAT was replaced with something not so great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed!! So I used to use the blue herbal spot treatment wish was AMAZING! I went online to order more (the one I had been using was a few years old!)...I saw reviews were bad and saying ingredients had changed in it! So....I went to the Kiehls store and explained what I had and how I as concerned the new herbal spot treatment wasn’t as effective and asked their opinion on it vs this breakout control spot treatment. She suggested this breakout control.. so I bought it! Unfortunately it’s awful! I’ve used it for a week now and it hasn’t dried up a single spot. Unlike the old Blue herbal spot treatment! That stuff literally would make pimples disappear overnight! I’m very dissatisfied with this kind :( I don’t recommend.

I am allergic to sulphur. will this cause a reaction??

I would think so. I have pretty sensitive skin that peels wherever I use this. I believe that it's due to drying but better safe than sorry!
