This concentrate really brightens your skin. It helps bring a glow to it especially in the wintertime when I get dry and pasty looking. A few drops is all you need for your face. The bottle lasts a long time.

Difference between midnight serum and daily reviving concentrate?

Daily Reviving Concentrate
Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Midnight Recovery Concentrate
Best Answer: Midnight Recovery Concentrate (Night-time Treatment oil (not serum)) is made to help aid the skins natural restoring and replenish benefits while sleeping. The Daily Reviving Concentrate (Day-Time Treatment Oil (not serum)) is a powerful antioxidant to fight against free radicals. Basically made to protect the skin during the day.

As an FYI, you can use a treatment oil after your serum. A few drops will do - you don't need very much.

Has anyone with oily skin tried this? I use the Midnight Recovery Concentrate at night, so I don't mind if it makes me shiny, but I'm concerned about using oils during the day. Help, anyone?
A shopper on Jul 8, 2015
Best Answer: I have oily skin and I feel this absorbs within 3-5 minutes. Once I add my moisturizer I feel it goes away after just a few minutes. It feels very weird to add oil to your skin, but it's done really good for me.

Is canola oil used in the new daily serum?
A shopper on Aug 14, 2015
Best Answer: I live in FL and my skin is combination. I use this product underneath an SPF tinted foundation or even just a mineral powder foundation and it works great. I love it because for me it is like my all time favorite Midnight Recovery, but for the day time.

I am going to wait for an answer on the type of oil used in the Daily Reviving concentrate before I buy it. I can see the oils listed on the site but the question about using Canola oil needs to be addressed - otherwise I wonder if something is being hidden?
Marty R on Aug 19, 2015
Best Answer: I'm pretty sure it does contain Canola oil. Scientific studies have found that canola oil is a effective oil for skin hydration as it's rich in vitamin E and K :-)

A shopper on Sep 16, 2015
Best Answer: Face Wash --> Essence --> Serum --> Treatment Oil --> Moisturizer. You can fit in scrubs, masques, bb creams, and blurs in there as well. But that is the basic routine.

A shopper on Oct 9, 2015
Best Answer: Daily Reviving Concentrate was made to protect the skin against free radicals such as pollutants and other harsh environmental factors. Midnight Recovery Concentrate was made to aid your natural sleep replenishing function. Basically to replenish and Repair your skin. You can use whichever whenever you want, but understand what the product was made for first.

Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate
Best Answer: I've been using the Daily Reviving Concentrate for about a month. It has quickly become one of my favorite "go to " products. It smells heavenly, but most importantly it does the job. You can use it up to three times a day. It is an oil
Based serum that provides a non greasy boost to my dry, tired skin. Use it sparingly under and over your foundation. It prevents drying and I've already noticed that my skin glows more. I have very sensitive skin at 53 and it does not clog my pores. I apply lightly with a sponge and is doesn't ruin my make up that is set. Much better than a powder which can be drying. I am a particularly detailed person and this is only the second time in my life that I've taken the time to provide an honest review of a product that was missing in my skin routine; five stars from me. You shoukd try this product ! Michelle , 53, NYC, light to medium skin tone prone to random break outs and rosacea. Best of luck !!

Is this good for oily acne prone skin?
A shopper on Mar 8, 2016
Best Answer: I have oily, acne prone skin and I suffer from rosacea. I find this product to work totally fine with oily skin. It goes on with an oily feeling, but it absorbs into the skin and really doesn't feel oily after about 3-5 minutes. That said, I find the Midnight Recovery Concentrate fairs better with my rosacea. But that's a personal preference. I still use both Daily and Midnight and I am very happy with both.

MEI-YING W on Dec 31, 2015
Best Answer: I don't think it helps prevent breakouts but it isn't making my mild acne worse. Overall better acne with using Kiehls products since June. My face feels better using the concentrate. I especially like the midnight concentrate and if I had to chose one, that is what I would pick. It only takes a small amount (about two drops) daily so the bottle will last a long time.

Dermatologist Solutions™ Clearly Corrective Brightening & Smoothing Moisture Treatment
Best Answer: Hi fellow costumer, let me help you with that!

After taking off your make up or cleaned your face, use Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner as first step to calm and prep your skin, then use Iris Extract Activating Treatment Essence to moist and activate your skin, then use Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution because it is a serum and usually very active. After that, use Daily Reviving Concentrate to bright your skin because it is a facial oil and it usually goes after the moisture, then apply Clearly Corrective™ Brightening & Smoothing Moisture Treatment to finish your daily routine.

Best Answer: Absolutely you can use the iris extract before applying any of Kiehls serums or moisturizer's . It is very light and easily absorbed which allows any other product you use to also absorb easily. And in fact I think it preps the skin for the moisturizer. I follow the iris extract with powerful line reducing serum, then the midnight recovery and then the multi corrective cream. In the morning I use daily reviving serum.and of course a Kiehls eye cream either avocado or eye brightening, depending on the appearance of my eyes when I wake up in the morning. At night I use midnight recovery eye
