How many pumps of this is enough? I tried 4 pumps on damp hair but my hair still feels dry. I'm worried to use more as it may weigh my hair down.
A shopper on May 23, 2015
Best Answer: I have very damaged hair and use between 3-6 pumps on either damp or dry hair, concentrating on the dry ends. But if necessary, I've used more without weighing my hair down. Please note though, I have noticed I have to rotate between various leave-in products because I noticed my hair getting used to one and it won't be as effective. Kiehl's Damage Repairing and Rehydrating Leave-In Treatment is one of the only products that works for me regardless how long I have been using it!

I just bought this. Bottle had no directions. How long do you leave in? Do you shampoo out or rinse. Thank you.
Lindamae on Apr 5, 2016
Best Answer: Since this is a leave-in treatment, you just apply it after you're done washing your hair and let it stay (until the next time you wash your hair) - like the way you would use a styling product.

Do you use this instead of a regular conditioner or along with it?
Nancy on Jan 29, 2015
Best Answer: Love the stuff
Yes I use regular conditioner as well, but not quite as much
It makes your hair real soft
I have very dry blonde curly hair that needs all the moisture it can get
Only use about 1 to 2 tsp. for chin length hair
I only use after washing hair when still slightly damp
I have also added it to curl enhancer on damp hair with great results

"In case of contact with eyes, rinse them immediately." Does this mean after massage products to hair, it is recommended to wash your hands immediately? Is this product irritating?

Can I use this on dry hair on a day when I am not shampooing or must I wet my hair before using? TIA for your reply.
Andie on Feb 4, 2017
Best Answer: Yes! I use this all the time on my hair when it's not wet. My hair tends to get frizzy (especially on the days I don't shampoo it) and this helps control that.

My hair is bleach blond, fine and naturally curly. I try to only flatiron once a week and rest of the time wear curly to avoid further damage to my platinum locks. I tried the damaged hair conditioner and saw instant improvement. Now I'm trying to decide which leave in would be best for me...the Damaged Hair Leavin treatment or the Olive oil, cream oil leave in conditioner. Which one would be best for me?
Kenda P on Nov 29, 2015
Best Answer: Hi... I have very curly and dry hair that tends to frizz easily. I swear by the Damage Repairing & Rehydrating line of products. I use the "leave-in" treatment and mix it with the conditioner and use both as a leave in after towel drying my hair. It is the only product line that actually repairs my hair from processing!
