I have never tried Kiehl's before but was recommended to try your products and am struggling to find a good moisturizer. I think I have narrowed it down to three. What is the difference between Clearly Corrective™ Deep Moisture Clarifying Cream and Clearly Corrective™ Hydrating Moisture Emulsion? I was also looking at Rosa Arctica Lightweight Cream. I have oily skin and lots of sun spots and usually prone to breakouts. I wanted to find a good moisturizer to wear under my BB cream which contains SPF 30. Please advise or please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Best Answer: It is as it's name implies, light, absorbs into the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. Make-up can be applied immediately. I would purchase again.

Best Answer: I am so surprised. I have very sensitive skin and not had any problems with this face cream. I hope it clears up quickly for you. Could it be what you are washing your face with prior to putting this on?

How often and how much should one typically use in a day?
Janet S on Mar 1, 2014
Best Answer: A little goes a long way. I wouldn't think you would need to use more than a finger tip amount to each side of your face. It would depend on how dry your face is. I wouldn't use it more than twice a day but that is just me.

Is this product oil-free?
Kendall G on Oct 15, 2012
Best Answer: This product is completely oil-free. It is a greaseless light cream with the most amazing results! There is no product that compares with Rosa Arctica cream. I have used the regular and lightweight formulas and love them both.

Do any of you using this cream have acne? What were your results (more/less breakouts)?
A shopper on Apr 9, 2013
Best Answer: I've been using this cream for a few months now and noticed a big difference in my skin. Since I have acne-prone skin I couple this moisturizer with the blue herbal face wash and toner and together these products have made a big difference. The cream is gentle and moisturizing!! LOVE IT!!

Is it suitable for summer use? Would it be too moisturing or oily to use in the summer?
A shopper on Apr 29, 2013
Best Answer: I tend to have combination skin. Sometimes dry and other times oily. I originally purchased the regular Rosa Arctica which is better for those with drier skin. I ended up giving that one to my mother to use and decided to purchase the lightweight version of this cream. A little goes a long way. This lightweight version is nice to use winter and summer. It is not oily and absorbs into the skin leaving your skin feeling hydrated. If you find that it is too much maybe alternate every other day with another cream or use only in the morning or evening.

This product was recommended to me recently for firming my skin and I have yet to use it. I am 53 and have always used Lancolm products. Over the years Lancolm has changes and I started using the Kiel Rare Earth line. I need some help with firming. Any thoughts on this will be very helpful? I always had very oliy skin and now its a combination.

Best Answer: I absolutely love how this product makes my skin feel. I know it's expensive, but you'll find it will last a long time as you use so little. It really does feel like it firms the skin. I'm 62 so my skin is past the point of worrying about whether or not it'll wrinkle (I deserved every one of them!), but I do feel like it makes me look and feel fresh, if that sounds logical and not too much like a commercial. I used to use Cetaphil which was recommended by a physician years ago, but this product makes me feel much cleaner and fresher. Hope this helps.

Hi,

I am wondering for this product, what is the age range that is suitable to use it? over 40 years old?
A shopper on Sep 11, 2012
Best Answer: In my opinion you're never too young to start! I'm 56 and have taken very good care of my skin, especially my face, ever since I was a teenager. It has paid off as there is no question that I have far fewer wrinkles and discolorations than most women I know of the same age (and some that are much younger!) I have only recently started using this product and I can say that so far I am very impressed.

So I understand this reduces lines & wrinkles, but I was wondering if it does a good job for prevention? (aka anti-oxidants?) Thanks!
A shopper on Aug 29, 2012
Best Answer: I am using it for prevention as I'm 25 and haven't seen major fine lines/wrinkles yet (and do not want to). One of the main ingredients is Vitamin E which is known for being an anti-oxidant. After using this product I've noticed a better texture to my skin, lesser appearance of pores, and a better glow. I love it!

which should I get, the purple jar, corrective cream ? or the Arnica light green jar ???? which one is better for a guy to fight the signs of aging?
A shopper on Dec 31, 2013
Best Answer: I've used both and it's really a personal preference....do you like to just quickly put on a cream that immediately "soaks in"? If so, the lightweight cream is the better of the two. If, like me, you'd rather use the time to massage it in, sort of making sure all areas of the face and neck are covered, the "regular" is the one I prefer. I'm a little older and need all the help I can get, so I feel like taking a little time to really work the cream in is preferential. However, there is a real advantage to the quicker appeal of the lightweight cream. I'm certain I've confused you even more!

Can I use this over my Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2014
Best Answer: I've never used the product you're referring to, so can't really comment. I know it's a beautiful lightweight cream which blends in very easily to the skin, but whether or not the line reducing concentrate acts as a barrier and would not allow this cream to "soak in", I just don't know.

If I have skin that is more on the dry side should I opt for the original Rosa Arctica cream instead even if I want to wear it under makeup?
A shopper on Feb 15, 2015
Best Answer: It depends on what kind of skin you have (dry, oily, mature, etc.). It can also depend on what climate you live in too. If you tend to have dry/mature skin & live in a cold, dry climate, you may want to opt for original Rosa Arctica cream. Sometimes having dry skin or mature skin and not moisturizing it properly can make make-up look creased. For myself, I tend to wear lightweight moisturizers in the summer and heavier moisturizers in the winter, as I live in New England. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate contacting me further.

Can you use this over the midnight recovery serum?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2012
Best Answer: Yes, you can use the cream over the serum and it seemed to work out ok. However I think over all I need some stronger products for my skin.
I do like the light weight cream over the other cream, which was heavier. Definitely these creams are great for younger skins, and I have to say being 71 years of age, you're just in a whole different skin care program.
I hope this will answer your question.

I am 47. can anybody explain me the different between rosa artica and abyssin cream ?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2012
Best Answer: I am 81 and have been using the product for a few months (before that I used the original for about 6 months). I find the texture and scent perfect and it seems a richer cream than abyssine. It goes a long way too. I put it over Midnigh Recovery. In the daytime I use the tinted moisturizer over the spot-reducing fluid and the rosa arctica eye cream(great products!). I do get compliments on my skin. Only product I haven't been pleased with is the Facial Fuel for Eyes (recommended by the representative though it's the men's line). I had an allergic reaction to it (burning, stinging). Was sad becase I liked the roll-on feature.

What different between this product and Rosa Arctica Cream?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2015
Best Answer: The effects are comparable, but the Lightweight Cream is, obviously, lighter. It also absorbs into the skin better, as opposed to feeling as though it's just coating the surface of the skin. Unless the skin is extremely dry, I'd recommend the Lightweight Cream.

How does this differentiate from Ultra facial cream? Any suggestions-40 years old?
A shopper on Mar 31, 2014
Best Answer: If you're asking about the cream which looks identical except for the one at right that says, "lightweight cream", I can answer your question: the cream has the same effects, it's just a matter of what you like. I tend to prefer the lighter feel of this cream...the other one is thicker so requires a little more massaging in. No biggie as I love the effects of that, too. So it just comes down to personal preference. Glad to help. Have a nice day.

What is a big difference between regular and light weight?
A shopper on Mar 19, 2017
Best Answer: The regular is a heavy cream, and needs to be worked into the skin. I typically only use the regular during the winter months in Michigan, and sometimes only at night. The lightweight is great for year round - it melts right in, it isn't too heavy, it's a good base for make-up, and it doesn't leave daytime skin too greasy.

I have rosecia and have heard this product works well?
Heidi A on Mar 14, 2017
Best Answer: I love the Lightweight Rosa Arctica - it gives my skin a hydrated glow that lasts the entire length of the day. Specifically I find it incredible to use around my eyes before I apply concealer - it allows my concealer to truly blend and look like my skin (not like a layer). In addition, after the first six weeks of using this in the morning and at night, my hair dresser commented on how incredible my skin looked. As I have come to learn, youthful skin is attributed to hydration and a dewy quality (not lack of wrinkles). This cream accomplishes the youthful glow and because of that softens my just barely emerging wrinkles (I'm 30). Lastly what I most appreciate about this cream is that my skin absorbs it and stays hydrated (in the mountains of Vermont in winter that's important!). It doesn't disappear after a few hours or go on too thin or go on too heavy - it is perfectly balanced. Every time I wear it, my skin feels healthy and protected. That and the very clean and subtle fresh scent make this my permanent cream for life.
