Key Ingredients
ROSEMARY LEAF OIL
Extracted from the leaf of the Rosemary plant, Rosemary Leaf Oil contains Amino Acids, Caffaic Acid, Rosemary Acid and Apigenen. Within our formula, it is known for its invigorating properties.
AVOCADO OIL FOR HAIR
Derived from the beloved Avocado Fruit, Avocado Oil has a rich, emollient texture and contains a balance of lipids including omega essential fatty acids. Blended within our formula, Avocado Oil for hair helps reduce dryness and delivers moisture and nourishment to scalp and hair, for softer, shinier more manageable hair.
SAFFLOWER OIL
Safflower Oil is extracted from the plant’s seeds and contains Vitamin E and Omega-6 fatty acids. Within our formula, it is used as a carrier oil and known to help hydrate the scalp and hair.
How to Use
- Shake well
- Using dispensing tip, apply a small amount to fingertips or directly onto dry scalp and hair before shampooing. Magic Elixir should not be applied to wet hair. Dry application allows formula to have direct contact with the scalp and hair.

Healthy Shiny Hair!
I started using Magic Elixir approximately a year ago. Recently my hair started to look dry even with using products that had combated this issue previously. I tried Magic Elixir and like ‘magic’ the shine was back! I mean after the first use. I have been using it ever since. This product is the real thing. If you want healthy shiny hair you should give this product a try. I noticed with continued use my hair seems stronger.

Hair is always dry unless my daughter uses this. Her hair has never looked better! We apply it all over before she shampoos. She has hair that goes to her waist, and it makes the frizz go away!

This product is amazing. The pre-wash massage with this oil is proving to be very effective for my fine, curly hair. My delicate curls are becoming stronger and easier to style. It smells wonderful--the rosemary and avocado oils are very subtle.

Salad Oil?
I just got my Magic Elixir. There is no fragrance at all. It seems to be a bottle of salad oil! It smells like canola oil. I grow rosemary and this does not have any in it. I am disappointed after the reviews I have read.
I had been so excited after reading about this. It is a disappointment.

I don’t like the product
I have very fine hair. After reading everyone’s review I decided to give this product a try. It made my hair dull and rough! I do not see any changes. I thought it’s probably for first time so I tried it couple times it does same thing second time as well! My hair looks dull and no shine. It made my hair rough. Very disappointed with this product!

Smells TERRIBLE
This product has great reviews so I can only assume the one I received yesterday was taken off the shelves of some dank dusty old warehouse because it smells as though it had “turned.” So disappointing.

Magic is an Understatement
My former regimen for those longer hair times required combining a couple of products. The style usually held, but my hair could look dry and my scalp would sometimes suffer.
This product has made things so easy. I use it after I shower as a leave-in conditioner. I work in a dime-to-quarter size squirt emulsified with about the same amount of water.
It leaves my hair looking super healthy with no fly-aways and even seems to darken those random grays. Plus, it gives my mop enough weight to behave - without looking oily.
Has to be the perfect product!

Went rancid after 3 weeks
This smelled absolutely sublime upon delivery 3 weeks ago. I've used it as a pre-shampoo but the smell has gone rancid. IN THREE WEEKS. This item has been stored in a cabinet away from light and heat. I've shaken the bottle to make sure that gorgeous fragrance didn't sink to the bottom. It now smells like turpentine in the bottle and on my hair. When I spend this much money I expect a product quality to last more than 3 weeks, having only used about 1/8 of it. Extremely disappointed. Will not purchase Kiehls products again.

For the smell alone
This product does everything it says it will and leaves my hair soft. It's great. But the smell is seriously incredible. Kiehl's, if y'all make a lotion / fragrance / anything with this scent, I will buy it ALL. Easily my favorite scent from any Kiehl's product.

Holy Grail Hair Product
This product has made such a difference for my hair! I suffer from PCOS and hair thinning/loss is typical. After using this product for a few weeks, I've noticed a major difference in my hairline and have had less shedding than ever before! This product really is a magic elixir!

Finally found my dry scalp solution!
This stuff is amazing!!! I've battled a dry, flaky scalp for over a decade. I've tried everything you can imagine from prescription shampoos, dandruff specific products, professional medicated shampoos...everything! This is the only product that has made a difference. I put it on all over the scalp and leave it on for a few hours, then shampoo with the olive fruit oil shampoo and conditioner. My scalp started clearing the first application. The bottle is small but the application tip is perfect and I'll buy it as many times as I need to keep my scalp happy. Thank you so much for making this!!

Best hair oil EVER !!!
my hair was very dry, dull not shiny at all so lifeless, then I tried this oil and what a great product for my hair, I love it. I use it three times a week, I apply it on my scalp then the rest of my hair and I leave it overnight so in the morning I wash my hair and it feels very silky, Smooth, shiny and have a lot of volume. I absolutely recommend this elixir ❤️

Nice job :)

It really is Magic
I have really fine hair and live in Florida so finding a product that gets rid of frizz and doesn't weigh my hair down is hard. I also have really dry skin and scalp. I took a chance after reading the reviews and was very very pleased with the results. My hair and scalp have never felt better. I don't do any styling on my hair and let it air dry and have stopped using any anti frizz treatments. I use this every 1-2 days and apply to my scalp right before I shower and work it in and then shampoo out at the end of my shower.

So impressed!
I wasn't sure what to expect but this elixir is a game changer for damaged hair. I apply once a week 10 to15 minutes before shampoo and once a week before bed to let it do its magic overnight. My hair is so much more shiny, strong, healthy and happy after just a couple of weeks. I will probably cut back to once a week soon to maintain the results. I highly recommend if you color your hair, use a hot iron, blow dryer, styling products; all those things that damage our hair.

At the time I purchased this product, I was coloring my hair a lot. This was a great treatment to help hydrate and soften my hair. My hair is very healthy now but I still use it. I like to mix it with coconut and castor oil and leave it on for a few hours like a hair mask. My hair feels amazing afterwards.

Olive Oil works just as well
I have thick, curly hair and took the advice of other reviewers. I work a significant amount through my hair and keep it on my hair overnight. My hair is soft and frizz free in the morning, but I get the same, if not better, results when I use olive oil so for me, this product is overpriced.

The name holds to be true!
This really is a magic elixir! After using this my hair was shiny and my color looked completely restored! It is light weight and doesn't make your hair look greasy but nourishes and conditions it! It's almost like a reset for your scalp. I will definitely be buying this again! It's so worth every penny! I used to a little bit and it went a long way whicheaper should be a sign that this product is fabulous!

This Rosemary smelling product is exactly what it states - magic!
I personally have short hair with dandruff every now and again, but once I use this product it clears up quickly. Sometimes I'll do what the directions say and shower it off after 15 minutes or so, but often times I'll sleep with it in. After I'll notice a beautiful sheen as if my hair has woken up from a deep, dehydrated sleep!
Works wonders for everyone!

The only conditioning treatment I'll ever use again
I have fine hair, but a lot of it. It has always been really difficult to get it to behave, and I have a cupboard full of products that I wasted my money on and used only once or twice because they made my hair super flat at the roots and not conditioned enough at the ends.
This product has been a game changer for me. I use it every other day before I shampoo, leave it on for 10-20 minutes, use a gentle shampoo and no additional conditioner. My hair is fuller, shinier, healthier and so much easier to deal with. Finally!

What a relief!
This product is magic for me :) I have been losing my hair from stress from classes on top of my scalp getting abnormally dry, flaky and irritated. Needless to say I have been desperate to find something that would work for longer than a day to relieve my scalp issues.
This product did it for me.. I love the smell too :) I typically put it on my scalp before a run then wash it out after. Not sure how you could complain about the price if you have serious scalp issues. To each their own but I find this product to be a great value :)

Great product for damaged hair
I have done a lot of perms on my hair and since I started using this product, my permed curls become even more defined and my hair feels more nourished. The overall quality of my hair has improved significantly. This product saved my damaged hair. I am on my second bottle now. The only thing is that I hope they produce a bigger bottle.

Absolutely love this product
Approximately 6 months ago I started suffering from itchy scalp. I immediately consulted with a Kiehls' specialist who recommended this product. I cannot say enough about this product. I no longer have itchy scalp and as a bonus my hair is shiny no longer dull. Product lasts approximately 2 months with once to twice a week usage. I am African American with thin, shoulder length hair. I swear it has made it thicker as well!

I absolutely love this! I wish that is came in a larger bottle! The only con is that I have long bleach blonde hair and it soaks up a so i only get a few uses per bottle.

I have curly, frizzy, dry hair. I really searched far and wide for a good conditioner/leave in treatment, but it never occurred to me to use a pre-wash treatment. I love this, and I can really tell when I don't use it. I just wish it came in a larger bottle but it's not bad for the price.

I NEVER Give 5 Stars -- This Is The Exception -- Tremendous Product
The title I wrote is true. While I am very fond of Kiehl's, this is my first 5/5 star rating. And, I didn't even think twice about it. Let me explain why:
I suffer from dry scalp and wanted a pre-shampoo treatment. Boy, did I find the right one. The main ingredients are extremely hydrating to the scalp and the Rosemary Oil even helps combat the cause of dandruff. The first three ingredients are GREAT hydrating carrier oils : Avocado, Safflower and Sweet Almond Oils. They really sink into the scalp and moisturize the heck out of it before shampooing. Following those, comes the Rosemary Oil, which is a tremendous all-around essential oil that especially combats dandruff.
So yes, the oils are great at a very reasonable price. The bottle lasts for much longer than you would think too. I bought two at the same time and I'm only 2/3 through my first bottle, which was purchased months ago. And, I use it at least 3-4 times per week.
Lastly, there are no harsh preservatives whatsoever. Nice touch there. I also wanted to mention the cap on the elixir, itself. It's incredibly pragmatic because you can essentially put the tip of the cap right to the scalp then squeeze out the product. That way, it's easier to absorb and work into your hair and scalp.
P.S.: I mentioned the three hydrating oils as "carrier oils" for a reason. This way, if you have a specific scalp concern (mine is dandruff), you can add in your own Essential Oils (besides Rosemary of course) to tailor to your specific needs. Pure essential oils on the scalp can cause irritation. With the first three ingredients being great carrier oils, you can add in 5-10 drops of essential oil(s) to dilute it without losing its "punch." (I added Tea Tree Oil & Peppermint Oil to the elixir and it really, really does the trick in helping with my scalp itchiness.)

Love it!!!!!!!!!!
Is the best oil I have ever tried! My hair is very thin and it gets damaged very easily, but with this oil my hair looks and feels great! I don't have any split ends, even though my last haircut was four months ago! Plus, it won't leave it greasy!
