Rated 1 out of 5 by GLeeS from I also want the old product bak Unfortunately because this is the only post shave item you manufacturer, I use it but I'm considering to a different brand. What's the status of the old product coming back or a better replacement? That is, what is the response from the marketing people? It appears per the review follow-ups, they've been adequately informed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andy90272 from Worthless product. Bring back Razor Bump Relief! Kiehl's discontinued a fantastic product- Razor Bump Relief, and now this useless product is the only post-shave treatment in their arsenal. I consider it a betrayal to men.

Rated 1 out of 5 by stefan from Get a new market research team I couldn't agree more with James E from NY. I've used this product for years, and it was the single best product I could find for this need, and the only thing I bought from Kiehl's. I used the free samples that came with orders and that led to multiple purchases by my wife. Looks like whoever did the market research talked to the wrong people. #FAIL And don't bother responding that I've been heard. The only response I care to receive is a case of the discontinued item and a promise to bring it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mpwr from I want my old razor bump relief back Well, I guess it’s time to officially cut ties with Kiehl’s. The old razor bump relief product was the best facial care product on the market. Sad to see it’s gone. I’d love to hear why, after all these years, they would retire such a stellar product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JamesE from Where the heck is razor bump relief? I have discontinued the use of pretty much all of Kiehl's products because my wife is a dermatologist, and her office produces a line of totally unscented products that keep my skin clearer and happier than anything else I have tried. BUT, here is the but, I absolutely LOVED Kiehl's Razor Bump Relief (along with the lip balm, body cream, and hand cream). I have curly hair, and have been using this product for years - it is the only thing that keeps my face clear from ingrown hairs after shaving. Why in the heck would Kiehl's stop making one of their best products? I understand the temptation to discontinue products that don't sell well, and perhaps Razor Bump Relief didn't sell well because it came in a relatively large bottle, and you need relatively little product. I purchase this cream maybe once every 6-9 months. It was the only thing that kept me coming back to Kiehl's - now, other than the excellent lip balm and hand cream, I have to go elsewhere for all of my product. I seriously hope Kiehl's reconsiders their stunningly stupid decision to kill this amazing product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rule from Change in Product Hey, my wife and I have been strong fans of Khel's for over 5 years and we still are. However, my Khel's Razor Bump Control busted in my bag while traveling. It was almost empty so I decided to leave it in the hotel to be dispose of and purchase a new bottle when I returned home. Unfortunately the product was discontinued and was left with the replacement of the "Post Shave Repair Gel". Not happy with it at all. Just does not work with my skin. For my temporary replacement I just use my moisturizer after my cleanse. My question is, once a product is discontinued and the fans of the product are not happy with the replacement. Do you all ever bring back that discontinued product? Who ever said the product was broken!?

Rated 1 out of 5 by JR33 from Poor substitute for Razor Bump Relief This product fails to produce any relief from razor burn or razor bumps. It succeeds in leaving a white residue on your skin. Unfortunately, it appears this product has replaced Kiehl’s Razor Bump Relief, a product that actually works by reducing ingrown hair inflammation and razor bumps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tangasowner from A Vastly Inferior Replacement As a loyal and almost fanatical Kiehls customer for more than 20 years,I feel that I must weigh in on the Post Shave Repair Gel, which replaced a much better product. I concur with those reviews that draw attention to the unfortunate tendency of this product to dry and leave a white, almost grainy residue on the skin after using. I am now in search of a substitute for a substitute!

Rated 2 out of 5 by bradyforreal from Bring Back Old Aftershave Like many I have sensitive skin and the past after shave prevented irritation. This stuff is ok. I have been using this stuff since they stopped making the original and I've noticed if I use this stuff and the razor bump relief on irritated areas then use the facial fuel moisturizer, all of that still isn't as good as the original.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Edward from Wonderful post shave product This works quickly and very effectively. It really does a great job of soothing irritated skin, whether from shaving or too much wind and sun. It is not greasy and its effects are long lasting. I like this better than competing products that I have used. I find it essential.

Rated 5 out of 5 by EmmonKy from Great, soothing aftershave balm Not sure where the negative reviews come from. I think this is a great aftershave balm. It's soothing (aloe vera) with just a mild sting (peppermint), which I like. The consistency is not watery or "sludge" as others have stated. I regularly use Anthony Logistics aftershave balm and would argue the Kiehls is thicker, yet applies smoothly and cleanly. Not greasy at all. My face felt softer and less irritated even two days later. I have somewhat sensitive skin and shave every other day. I'm a believer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ogcwebb from Fantastic Product This is a great repair gel that doesn't irritate the skin or dry it out. I've been using it for three months and love the results. Don't be deterred by the negative reviews; I'm buying two more bottles as presents for my brother and father.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JohnAZ from Wonderful Product I have used this repair gel for the last six months and gotten fantastic results. I am baffled at the negative reviews. It is thinner that a lot of other products, but I find that to be a major plus. It is not greasy. It dries quickly and leaves my face feeling hydrated all day. It never runs into my eyes when I sweat. It improved dry, red skin that I suffered from shaving and from living in a dry climate (Arizona). I highly recommend this product. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by fastNY from Where is my khiel's moisturizer? For years, I have been using your post-shave moisturizer for men which you replaced with this sludge. When using it on my neck after a shave, it produces small white particles that are near hard to get off the skin. After two decades of using the Kiehl's Post-Shave moisturizer, I'm now looking for something different

Rated 1 out of 5 by kfastuff from Why? For years, Kiehl's prodded a very effective post-shave moisturizer for men. Not long ago, they replaced it with this sludge. When you slather this on your neck after a shave, it produces what can be best described as "neck lint" -- small white particles that are nearly impossible to get off the skin. After nearly two decades of performing the Kiehl's regiment of White Eagle, Astringent and Post-Shave moisturizer, I'm now in the market for a different set of products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RichardNY from Post Shave Repair Gel This is probably the worst product Kiehl's has ever released. I am not against change, but their Ultimate Men's After Shave Balm and Moisturizer was a perfect product I used for many years. The replacement, if used with the Post Shave Healer (the blue astringent) immediately clumps and leaves dandruff-like flakes all over your skin and collar. I informed the staff, and they suggested I simply wait a few minutes before putting it on - which I tried, but the effect was essentially the same. I returned the bottle and received a refund and the staff member confided to me even when they do their demos it clumps up in their hands. So my only question is when will the Ultimate Men's After Shave Balm and Moisturizer return?

Rated 1 out of 5 by SoCalAustin from Nothing compared to Ultimate Mens After Shave Balm and Moisturizer You're probably looking for a substitute to the awesome Kiehl's Ultimate Mens After Shave Balm and Moisturizer. Well, this isn't it. Pretty sure the only option is to find the balm on other retails if there's any left or hope that Kiehl's brings it back. This slimy replacement isn't worth your time. This feels greasy and leaves a residue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by nford from Horrible As much as I'd like to have good things to say about this product, I can't think of any. Every time I've tried to use this product after shaving, my skin feels filmy and gross. At this point in time, there is no good alternative that Kiehl's has to offer for an aftershave. If you do end up getting this, try to use a tiny tiny amount.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ZAPPATORE from This product is not worth $1 So, we went from having two great aftershave products which were discontuned to be left with this! I'm not sure who is buying this or why they still make it. Who is making the executive decisions on what men like to use? It does not keep the skin moisturized and certainly does not compare fractionally to its predecessor . It's time to either bring back the "close shavers squadron " ultimate men's aftershave balm & multi purpose facial formula! Or make another quality product! What we have now is far from good !
