This conditioner is amazing. I don't understand the negative reviews about the smell. It smells amazing. Every time i use it I am complimented on the scent and asked what perfume I am wearing - and its the conditioner. Also leaves my hair super soft and full. Love this product!

I bought online, when I open it today, BAD SMELL! I prefer fresh smell of flower or fruit, but this one is similar to some oil smell, like someone didn't wash hair for 3 days.
After I use it, the smell become a litter better, not oil smell, but still don't like. The effect is fair, hair is sleek but still frizzy. Disappointed.

I have very thick and fine curly hair. After trying many products and not wanting silicone products ( harsh on my hair and ecologically harmful), the argan oil products work best for me. I use it as a leave in as well. And I don't need to use a lot of this. The smell is earthy and fades quickly anyways!
Rated 1 out of 5 by PanchoSanza The Most Awful Thing I've Ever Smelled Before
Oh my giddy aunt, does this stuff reek. The scent can be described in one word: MUSKY.
A slightly more detailed idea of how truly terrible this product smells:
In the movie Anchorman (The Legend of Ron Burgundy), Ron's friend has a collection of musky 70s colognes. The keystone is an eye-watering, foul thing called $€x Panther.
The first thing I thought when I smelled this conditioner was "$€x Panther". I imagine it would smell much the same. It actually burns the nose and sinuses.
And it clings like skunk spray. In fact, I'd rather be sprayed by a skunk (I have been before so I know what I'm talking about).
I have no idea how this product performs as an actual hair conditioner. It doesn't matter. I am nearly vomiting from the smell as I write this. As soon as I possibly can, I will be washing my hair with vinegar and dish soap and Febreeze and tomato juice and vodka and anything else I've ever heard gets rid of horrible smells.
Please don't buy this product unless you enjoy smelling like a used car salesman at a swinger party in 1973. And even if you do, please have mercy on your fellow living creatures and don't buy this stuff.

For the record, I'm a guy in NYC & have long ringlet curls that are grey. i.e. everything that could possibly be coarse & frizzy. I have used this for a couple of years, I actually leave the conditioner in - don't rinse it out; my hair is very dry so this works and helps tame it.
I've read about the smell, nothing out of the ordinary for me - neither especially pleasant or unpleasant.

I have been using this for almost two years. Every once in awhile I will try something else that is not quite so expensive, but I keep coming back because this WORKS! My hair is almost waist length and curly/frizzy depending on where. This is heavy enough that I even use it as a stay in detangler/conditioner before my comb hits my hair. I would never get my comb thru my hair without it....and I have even tried straight oils (olive, argan, maracuja), that don't work as well. And, if the scent were to change, I would definitely find something else that wasn't so costly. I love the scent.

I use this conditioner on my beard or mustache and goatee because I love the smell.. It smells exotic.

The odor has already been noted, but in addition, its effect is heavy and leaves my hair limp. Quite the opposite of the healthy look I want from a conditioner.
