Rated 2 out of 5 by Huckleberry Don't make the Argan Conditioner anymore, so tried this
K doesn't make the Argan conditioner anymore, so I went to a store and they directed me to this. My wife's hair guy said argan could cause buildup, and that's why it was going out of favor. Anyway, I just don't want my hair to be frazzled. This stuff, from my experience, does not smooth the hair at all. It's quite possible it does the reverse. Feels like just eh conditioner. For that, I think I'd rather go to the drug store.
Rated 1 out of 5 by CSNY Bring the former Argon
The product works well. Sadly, the scent is awful. It smells like a cheap hotel conditioner, but stronger. The former argon conditioner worked well and the scent, while not the best, was at least natural smelling. One of the things I like about the Kiehls products is the naturalness. This scent is so far from that and hard to tolerate. I will have to find a new conditioner.

Tried this after years of using the Argan conditioner. I don't have an opinion on how it holds my curly hair together yet, but it smells OVERPOWERING and HORRIBLE. My girlfriend noticed it the moment I stepped out of the shower. It's putrid. Like a cheap potpourri fragrance basket from a midwestern craft shop meets a Vegas strip club. It's something I literally cannot use in my hair and go in to work. Absolutely returning this and finding a new product to use.
Rated 3 out of 5 by PNWerin Great conditioner, perfume way too heavy
I really like this conditioner and the way it leaves my fine, wavy hair soft and manageable. I let my hair air dry yesterday afternoon to see the full effect and I had gorgeous, soft waves that stayed in place, but also let me run my fingers through without losing texture. Yes! Even this morning when I woke up, my bedhead was looking really good. The main problem: the perfume and scent on this conditioner is SO heavy. I can smell it all around my face. Even when I put my hair up in a ponytail as I have it right now, the next day, I can still smell this perfume. I would honestly recommend this product to anyone with fine, wavy hair (who has a lot of hair), so long as they can put up with strong scents. Kiehls, is there any way to make a reduced scent version? Or one with little to no scent at all?

I bought the shampoo and conditioner. I have curly, color treated fine hair. I tried the product 3 times. My hair kept getting worse. I used it this morning and let my hair dry naturally. It dried crusty and I couldn't even get a comb or brush through it. Worse shampoo and conditioner ever!! My hair is flat greasy and I need to wash it and I just washed it....I like Keihl's products but these are horrible. Wish I had read the reveiws before I bought it.

I tried to be optimistic about this as a replacement for the Argan line, especially since I was not a fan of the smell of the old line. Unfortunately, I would gladly put up with the smell to not have frizz. This re-do does not work for me what-so-ever; I couldn't possibly have any frizz even if I went without any product.

I use this with the shampoo and I think it's lovely. I like how soft and manageable this makes my hair feel. I used the argan versions of this and although I starting to feel their slightly different - I still think this is a better option regardless.

I never write reviews, ever. But when I found out that Khiel's stopped making the Argan Oil Smooth Hair Pack (which I used as a conditioner) as well as reformatting the Argan Shampoo & Conditioner, I was so disappointed! :-( I've been using the Argan line forever. It was the only product that worked well for my thick wavy/with curls hair. Now, The texture isn't as good, the smell isn't as good and the results are no where near as wonderful as it used to be. Anyway, I can only imagine that with the parent company trying to expand Kheil's as a brand (now with shops in UK high streets and air ports), that they are cutting costs to their products in order to supply the demand. There is no other reason why you would change a highly rated and beloved product line by so many! For now, I'll use it until I find something better, another brand that does what this used to do. What a BUMMER!
