For years, I have been using your post-shave moisturizer for men which you replaced with this sludge.
When using it on my neck after a shave, it produces small white particles that are near hard to get off the skin.
After two decades of using the Kiehl's Post-Shave moisturizer, I'm now looking for something different

For years, Kiehl's prodded a very effective post-shave moisturizer for men. Not long ago, they replaced it with this sludge.
When you slather this on your neck after a shave, it produces what can be best described as "neck lint" -- small white particles that are nearly impossible to get off the skin.
After nearly two decades of performing the Kiehl's regiment of White Eagle, Astringent and Post-Shave moisturizer, I'm now in the market for a different set of products.

This is probably the worst product Kiehl's has ever released. I am not against change, but their Ultimate Men's After Shave Balm and Moisturizer was a perfect product I used for many years. The replacement, if used with the Post Shave Healer (the blue astringent) immediately clumps and leaves dandruff-like flakes all over your skin and collar. I informed the staff, and they suggested I simply wait a few minutes before putting it on - which I tried, but the effect was essentially the same. I returned the bottle and received a refund and the staff member confided to me even when they do their demos it clumps up in their hands. So my only question is when will the Ultimate Men's After Shave Balm and Moisturizer return?
Rated 1 out of 5 by SoCalAustin Nothing compared to Ultimate Mens After Shave Balm and Moisturizer
You're probably looking for a substitute to the awesome Kiehl's Ultimate Mens After Shave Balm and Moisturizer. Well, this isn't it. Pretty sure the only option is to find the balm on other retails if there's any left or hope that Kiehl's brings it back. This slimy replacement isn't worth your time. This feels greasy and leaves a residue.

As much as I'd like to have good things to say about this product, I can't think of any. Every time I've tried to use this product after shaving, my skin feels filmy and gross. At this point in time, there is no good alternative that Kiehl's has to offer for an aftershave.
If you do end up getting this, try to use a tiny tiny amount.

So, we went from having two great aftershave products which were discontuned to be left with this!
I'm not sure who is buying this or why they still make it.
Who is making the executive decisions on what men like to use?
It does not keep the skin moisturized and certainly does not compare fractionally to its predecessor .
It's time to either bring back the "close shavers squadron " ultimate men's aftershave balm & multi purpose facial formula! Or make another quality product! What we have now is far from good !

Jeez, what a bunch of whiners!f I have used Kiehl's products since before I could buy them on the internet and could only get them at Neiman Marcus. Over the years Kiehl's has discontinued, changed, re-formulated, and re-introduced many of their products. In my opinion, all for the best. Yes, I liked the old after shave balm, but this formulation, I think is better. it's cooling, soothing and is the perfect lotion for my face after a shave. I use a double edge safety razor, and I have sensitive skin. This stuff does the job. If you are a newcomer to Kiehl's, I'm sure you will like it. If you are a regular and can't handle change, you probably won't like it. Making comments like "it's just like water" don't gain any credibility. Come on, man up. Handle it. Or vote for Trump. He'll make your face great again.

Horrible product. Does nothing for my skin. I echo the sentiments of those who have said that the Ultimate After Shave Balm was the best thing going. That was one great product. However, as has been an all to frequent trend, you keep changing or discontinuing great products. What is your thinking? Have you ever heard of the saying "Don't reinvent the wheel?" If so, apply the principle to your proven winners and favorites.
