Anthony W: Mammoth skiing. You never think that because it's cold you don't need UV. White snow is very reflective and leaves me with a red nose on the slopes. This stuff is great for hitting the slopes in the winter time.Sep 18, 2012

Craig W: I liked the reviews on this product and that it may not need to be reapplied as often doesn't run into your eyes when you sweat.May 17, 2012
Brian K: i was drawn to the packaging in that it's in a jar rather than a tube. if you squeeze or pump too much in other packaging it's difficult at best to get it back in the tube so it can be wasteful. Only potential issue w/this packaging i can think of is how thin the product might get when warm. i guess we'll see. i will say, i do like this sunscreen. works very well and has a very light feel on the skin.May 17, 2012
A shopper asked:I'm a surfer and in search for good sunblock that will stay put <3-4 hrs in the ocean. Would you recommend this product? Most of the reviews I've read so far are people who have used this skiing or running, any swimmers/ surfers?May 1, 2013
David B:I have been using this sun block for a couple years now and I can tell you that it will definitely stay on your face while surfing. I am in the construction business and occasionally work outside for 8 hours at a time sweating and wiping my face and it doesn't even phase this stuff. I also put it on when I go to the pool and it stays on after swimming. Highly recommend!! I now put this same sun block on my 4 year old daughter before she goes out the door for school. She has not been sun burned and it does not bother her eyes.May 2, 2013
Greg M:I'm sorry, but I wear it running . It's not working well for me because the sunscreen is rather thick and greesy so it builds-up on your sun- glasses .
I would think it would really work well for swimmers or surfers .May 10, 2013
James M:I've had good luck with this product in the water. it goes on thick, but it provides very good protection from the sun and it stays on for a few hours. SPF 50 may be excessive, but I need good coverage.May 2, 2013
v a:My kids swim on a team, in our pool for fun, and my son plays water polo. They are in the sun for at least 4-5 hours and this is the best we've found so far.May 1, 2013
Thomas L:I've used it for scuba diving. I still have significant protection during the surface intervals. I believe it will meet your needs!May 2, 2013
A shopper asked:I have sensitive skin, and tend to break out easily. I want to use this for long runs during the winter, but am afraid of how my skin my react to it. Anyone have the issue?Oct 1, 2012
KAREN N:I bought this for my brother. He has normal skin and is outdoors a lot. He has had no breakouts, because when he wears it, his skin is so dry I don't think it matters. For normal skin I think it is fine. Hope this helps.Oct 1, 2012
Susan S:I bought this for my husband who is a marathon runner. He hasn't had any skin problems and really likes the product. He says you don't get the wind burn feel and it isn't greasy. Oct 1, 2012
Robert C:Not an issue for me or my son. Actually, the little waxy feel to the product may help against wind irritation on a cold run. It does running an open boat albeit a warm wind.Oct 1, 2012
David B:Not sure, it doesn't have a rating on the tub. I just looked, sorry. But I can tell you this stuff really works. I am an electrician and do a fair amount of outside work. When I know I am working outside I put it on don't worry about being in the sun ALL day long. Even with other sun blocks I would have to re-apply and still come home with mild red skin. Not to mention stinging sweat in my eyes. Since I've been using the cross terrain I have had NO sun burns or stinging eyes. Love this stuff. I am now putting it my 3 year old daughter who would come home from preschool with sunburn. Not any more and she doesn't complain about stinging eyes.May 14, 2012
Brian K:It doesn't have a UVA rating on the packaging. All it says is "Provides UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum protection to help prevent sunburn."May 16, 2012
Ben W:Actually, I used a different product than the one you're asking about. But I would say, is a face protecting product gender-specific? And I don't know the answer to that, but would add, try to get a list of ingredients of the product you're wanting; Google each one; and I'd say if none of the ingredients are gender-specific (e.g., one that causes beard growth) then I don't see the harm in using it. Too, call your nearest Neiman Marcus store or Kiehl's store and ask them. The Kiehl's website lists all their locations. Good luck.Apr 29, 2012
