Jeanne R: Good question, as I have found it is excellent for both! In fact, my skin feels so smooth after applying the solution, that I often do not even bother to put on moisturizing cream. Truly, your face will look better after one application. And for the purpose of evening skin tone, it's excellent and you can see the difference in just a couple of days. The darker spots take more time, but begin to fade within two weeks.

So, it's a two-fer -- a very good value.

Heidi Q: I have dry, aging skin and have tried many different products, including Kiehl's. Lately I've been using the Cryste Marine Ultra Riche moisturizer and the Cryste Marine Firming eye treatment and have found very nice results with both. It's moisturizing without being too heavy and it firms my skin. I also received advise from a Kiehl's rep. at a Nordstroms that the Rose Arctica is nice for really dry skin, but I haven' t tried that yet. I hope this helps! Jun 20, 2012

Patrick M: Men can use this product. It's still potent. It only lightened my spots leftover from pimples, not hyperpigmentation. Use night and day after cleansing/toning as the first thing you put on your face (ex: Take a shower and put this on first before a moisturizer). Luz G: This product is fine for either men or women. You can use it night and day under your moisturizer, but after you wash your face. You apply a few drops to your hand and from there you dab it on the areas that need "correcting."

judy w: I have been using the product for 5 or so months and I use it the first thing after washing my face. I use both, morning and before bed. Directly after applying it and it dries, (it dries quickly), I use my usual face cream and Khiels Midnight Recovery in the evening and Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate and face cream at morning.
All 3 of these products I would highly recommend.

Juliette D: I would not recommend using this under your eye for dark circles. You can try using Midnight Recovery Eye at night time and Eye Alert in the morning. Both have properties that help combat dark circles. Another eye cream that helps a lot with dark circles is Rosa Artica Eye. It is very moisturizing, reduces fine lines, brightens under the eye, and gets rid of dark circles. This is by far my favorite product. Candace A: I would say, yes! I have many past acne scars but still have an occasional breakout. I have VERY sensitive skin and do not have any problem using them in combination. I use the Dark Spot Solution in the morning and at night and still use a spot treatment with benzoyl peroxide for breakouts as needed and have not encountered any problems at all. Rosario F: Yes. You can use your Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (CCDSS) morning and night. During day time use your CCDSS first then layer with your moisturizer and sunblock. In the evening after cleansing the face, apply CCDSS first all over your face or you can do spot treatment by just applying on the affected areas. Let the CCDSS absorbed first. This will only take a minute or two. Then apply your Midnight Recovery Solution all over your face. The one thing that makes a product effective is making sure that it penetrates beyond the surface of the skin by making it really clean. Susan F: I don't see why not. I use Kiehl's Cryste Marine Eye Treatment at night and the Dark Spot Solution twice a day. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and there is already a VERY noticeable reduction in the dark spots on the sides of my face from sun damage. I'm hoping that they will reduce even more with time! But already I can't see them when I put my foundation on and that's never happened! Apr 8, 2012

Patrick M: Personally, Clearly Corrective has made my pigmentation spots much lighter, but hasn't removed them. I find it most effective with treating post-pimple marks. I have very clear skin most of the time, but lately, when I get pimples and they leave, they leave behind pesky dark spots! If this solution is used as the directions point out, it will help to remove these spots. I would recommend using Kiehl's and using sunscreen on the outermost layer of your skincare regimen in order to prevent more pigmentation sun spots from forming. I personally use an SPF 80+ lotion everyday, rain or shine, sunny or cloudy. Apr 6, 2012
