It has never bothered my eyes when I wash my face. I close my eyes when I rinse it off. I am careful to not get any product in my eyes when I cleanse or moisturize my face. It does make a pleasant tingling feeling on my skin. I love this cleanser - it is so refreshing!

Usually I keep my eyes tightly closed when using anything on my face although I understand that sometimes things get in. I have never had any issues with this stinging though. It's mild and works great!

I use Acai Damage-Minimizing Cleanser every evening and most mornings followed by a washcloth patdown of very warm water and then a moisturizer. The Acai cleanser is very gentle yet cleans thoroughly my skin is clear and healthy. (However, I do not use make-up such as foundation.)
