Would you moisturize after using this product?
John G on Dec 9, 2013
Best Answer: I would reccomend applying Razor Bump Relief to the troubled area post shave with a sterilized cotton ball without the use of any additional products. Try instead alternating other prodicts with morning and nighttime treatments. This product works best when used on it's own.

I shave my head and get ingrown hairs on the back of my neck.Do you think this would work to eliminate or at least reduce this problem? Thanks.

Best Answer: I am a big fan of many Kiehl's products (facial fuel lotion, energizing face scrub, no-brush shave lotion, eye de-puffer, etc.); but, unfortunately, this is one product that did not live up to the billing in my experience.

This lotion does an ok job of soothing razor burn, but does not have the effect on razor bump relief that I have been able to get through other products like Bump Patrol (you can get it at any local drug store).

I don't shave my head, but had trouble with razor bumps on my neck for years until I found the magic formula for me: Twice a week I use the face scrub to soften my beard before shaving, then apply the Bump Patrol immediately after rinsing and, once dry, finish with the facial fuel lotion for moisture and SPF.

Can this product be used without shaving?
A shopper on Jun 1, 2015
Best Answer: Yes. While its a great "after shave" product I use it daily, specifically on my beard area, to help maintain better skin overall (less red and razor bumps). Highly recommend if you have ingrown facial hair or red irritation after shaves.

Does this product feel sticky or leave a noticeable film on your face. Can it be used and worm like an aftershave lotion?
A shopper on Apr 22, 2014
Best Answer: Overall, for me, this is a very good product. The lotion is light and silky. Nor is it greasy or filmy. I've seen noticeable results from its use. I actually mix it with tea tree oil for added benefit since it blends well into my skin. Hope this helps.

Is this product appropriate to use for a female teenager? I have very sensitive fair skin with unsightly razor bumps.
Katie L on Jun 5, 2013
Best Answer: Yes, I highly suggest it. Just note that it may dry out your skin in the winter, just a little bit.

Jonys on Jan 7, 2015
Best Answer: I find no need for after-shave after using this Razor Bump Relief cream, but I've also never been a huge fan of aftershave.

What about if it doesn't wrk , do I get a refund?
A shopper on Apr 8, 2013
Best Answer: Kiehl's is great about returning things, however this is the best product I've used for razor bumps. It's not a miracle worker, I still get occasional razor bumps on my neckline (usually when I have to shave several days in a row without good stubble and my dress shirt rubbing my neck) but this has dramatically improved the frequency and severity of it.
