Our essences are generally recommended for everyone. Please note the following with regard to the usage of pure essences and essence blends and their possible effects on the skin: the susceptibility of persons to pure essences and essence blends varies from individual to individual. Occasionally, susceptible individuals can experience a rash, desensitization or a temporary discoloration of the skin in the areas where the pure concentrated essences have been applied. Sun exposure greatly increases the sensitivity of the skin towards certain essences; therefore, we recommend that the use of essences should be limited to those occasions when sun exposure is minimal.

I love this fragrance and it so reasonably priced, but, the roller ball applicator is an enormous pain to deal with. I actually take the rollerball off. It is not easy and it then is hard to control the amount you apply. Seriously , Kiehl has to fix this.

I think that what is available on Amazon is highly inflated, and makes it clear to Kiehls that they should make the original Musk available in the half and one ounce bottles again. As customers we need to keep campaigning Kiehls and their parent company to make this available. Yes, they will sell lots of the roller bottles, but the product has been compromised. Those of us who have used the product for over 40 years know the difference. Give us the option.

I don't recall the coriander scent but although the roller ball applicator is very handy and easily removable if you don't like it ( I did this myself), I feel that the oil itself has changed formulas: The old essence would last an entire day with just a few drops. Not so with the THREE new bottles I purchased of the musk fragrance. i did find this web site for you that carries it although I have never tried it. Try the website organicinfusion wholesale. (this won't let me enter the actual web site.

Hi. I purchased the musk fragrance in the rollerballs. I was hesitant at first because of the name, but I'm so glad I did. It is such a soft, sweet and mellow fragrance, not heavy at all. It's perfect for the springtime! I've had many compliments in the short time I've used it. The rollerball makes it so easy to apply and carry with me when I need to. Definitely recommend!

I have been using the Musk Oil for over 25 years. First I would buy it at Jacqueline's perfume shop (only place that carried it in SF) or I would have it shipped from New York. I too was a little disappointed with the new roller ball; because of both the roller ball and not have the larger size bottles (I used to buy the large bottles of musk always). BUT I found a way to remove the roller ball with tweezer or small pliers. LOL

I have no idea but all I know is that this is one of my favorite 'perfumes'. I have the Coriander scent, but I am not sure if Kiehl's offers that scent anymore....;-( I do know that their musk is quite nice also.

Although I love the rollerball , it is wonderful to keep in your pocketbook. I even keep one in my car. They smell fantastic. I really love the oils. Why can't there be both. I empty the bottles in my bath in my car. The rollerball is fine when you just need a extra dab of perfume but it is not what I need. I would rather have the bottles and they were cheaper. The rollerball is great when you go to a wedding or function because a bottle isn't practical. But I also love the bottles, and I would prefer the bottles too.
