Apricot Kernel Oil is extracted from apricot kernels and has a very high Vitamin E content (aiding fast absorption) and is a trygliceride composed of 75% oleic acid and 20% linoleic acid, and unsaturated fatty acids esterified with glycerin - similar to avocado oil and sesame oil. Found to be highly compatible with the skin. Apricot Kernel Oil moisturizes and softens skin while helping retain clarity and suppleness.

Ah’-voh-KAH-doh OY-il

Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.

Ultra Facial Cleanser is the ONLY thing I use to wash my face - morning, night, at the gym, ANYTIME. It really doesn't strip oils, it really doesn't leave the skin dry, it is really perfect. I've been using it exclusively for years and years, and, even at age 60, I constantly get comments on how beautiful my skin is. My only hint is that I am sure to put moisturizer on before the skin dries completely; otherwise, I do feel a tautness on the skin. I use Ultra Facial Moisturizer SPF 15, and Abyssine Eye Cream, and that's it; nothing else, no makeup, nothing.
I have even given Ultra Facial Cleanser as a birthday present to my friends - that's how much I believe in it.

Paul P: I would say the ultra facial cleanser is a good all-around cleaner for any skin type. I personally have sensitive skin around my nose and eyebrows due to Seborrheic dermatitis. In addition, my skin is oily and i may break out once in a while, but not so much of an issue anymore.
I found this cleanser to be excellent so far (esp. for the harsh winter months). It does not aggravate my dermatitis, doesn't make my skin feel overly dry or oily and doesn't make me break out. For the last two weeks, I've been using it with my clarisonic and my skin feels very clean afterwards! DEF. recommend this cleaner to any and everyone! Jan 5, 2013

Resa R: It might, depending on what is causing your breakouts. It's great at helping to not dry out skin (which can lead to too much oil production and acne problems). I don't believe it has any active ingredients to combat acne though. Aug 4, 2012

Audrey N: I have experienced both of your observations. I love the Clarisonic, but have cut down to using it 3x/week, as it can be too much cleaning. I have found a serum the better choice. But Ultra Facial Cleaner is a great partner with the Clarisonic.
