Apricot Kernel Oil is extracted from apricot kernels and has a very high Vitamin E content (aiding fast absorption) and is a trygliceride composed of 75% oleic acid and 20% linoleic acid, and unsaturated fatty acids esterified with glycerin - similar to avocado oil and sesame oil. Found to be highly compatible with the skin. Apricot Kernel Oil moisturizes and softens skin while helping retain clarity and suppleness.

I liked that it had Apricot Kernel oil which does well on my skin--I have fairly smooth skin with deeper wrinkles on my forehead between my eyes. This was great overall on my skin as it kept it smooth and fresh looking. It has a light clean smell and very faint. It is thick so alot goes a long way. It is not greasy.
I've since graduated to the Rosa Artica because I have Sjogren's Syndrome which means I don't produce enough moisture for my body. I have to constantly hydrate and take large doses of fish oil. Both the Abyssine and Rosa work better than anything else I've tried--the Rosa works a bit better. I apply argan oil underneath the creme and this usually lasts about 6-8 hours under makeup.
