Jojoba Oil is extracted from the beanlike seeds of the desert shrub Simondsia Chinensis and has been traditionally used by both Mexicans and Native Americans for skin care purpose. It reduces transepidermal water loss without completely blocking the transportation of water vapor and gasses, providing suppleness and softness. It is nurturing for the skin and helps to restore skin's natural lipid barrier.

A valuable oil for skin and hair care, olive oil has been used for centuries as a cosmetic and food by peoples of the Mediterranean region. The oil is obtained by cold pressing of ripe olives and it is the first press, or “extra vierge” oil, that is used for creams, lotions, hair treatments and ointments. Extra virgin contains a high level of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E that moisturize, protect and nourish. It is very beneficial for dry, damaged, or split hair.
SEH-sah'-mee OY-il
Sesame Oil, which is a refined moisturizing oil derived from Sesame Seeds, has the same emollient properties as other nut and vegetable oils and is commonly used as a carrier oil for skin care products. Absorbs easily and softens the skin.
Apply liberally at least 30 minutes prior to sun exposure, after bath or shower - or anytime - for a silky-smooth feel with broad-spectrum UV protection. We recommend applying a generous amount of the lotion to damp, towel-dried skin to help seal in moisture.

That's a great question, I've been using Creme de Corps Light-Weight for quite a few summers. I have never used it on my face. However, it'is so truly lightweight, I don't see why not. As a matter of fact, I will try it on my face. I will let you know how it works out.

I'm not sure which notes you're referring to, I use this product in the summer only, so that's what it smells like to me. I also use Creme de Corps regular, in the winter. But, I think the scent is slightly different. May I suggest you speak with one of their expert sales associate.
