Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.

This bright and zesty citrus fruit has long had a prominent role in cosmetics and aromatherapy. Lemons are high in natural fruit acids and have the highest percentage of Vitamin C of all the fruits. Its extracts from the fruit and essential oil (expressed from the peel) have astringent and antiseptic quality that freshens, stimulates and rejuvenates sluggish skin and adds lustrous shine to the hair. In aromatherapy, lemons inspire a cooling, refreshing and uplifting feeling.

A valuable oil for skin and hair care, olive oil has been used for centuries as a cosmetic and food by peoples of the Mediterranean region. The oil is obtained by cold pressing of ripe olives and it is the first press, or “extra vierge” oil, that is used for creams, lotions, hair treatments and ointments. Extra virgin contains a high level of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E that moisturize, protect and nourish. It is very beneficial for dry, damaged, or split hair.
Shampoo. Rinse and squeeze off excess water. Apply a liberal amount of the masque to hair evenly, concentrating on hair ends. Allow formula to remain three to five minutes. Rinse well. Dry/damaged hair: use weekly. Extremely dry/severely damaged hair: use after every shampoo. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse immediately with water.

I use it once a week as a deep treatment for hair. Ideally, put it in your hair in the evening and let is sit overnight (the night before washing sheets is ideal). When I rinse my hair in the morning, it's AMAZINGLY silky and soft.

Whenever I wash my hair, I always use their shampoos and use this olive fruit oil hair pak after shampoo, plus I add some of the other Kiehl conditioneers for highlighted hair. The hair pak is by far the best conditioner I have ever used. It is great for hair that is "abused" by multiple products and appliances. It works best when left on for at least 30 minutes. The pak leaves hair soft, manageable, but not greasey. I highly recommend it.

This is an absolutely fantastic product for me, but I have really thick hair. This might be heavy for thinning hair. The other "tub" conditioner, Sunflower for colored hair, is really great as well and might work better for thinning hair.

Honestly, it depends on the type of hair you have. if you have normal hair, use it once a month. Towel dry hair and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes and rinse. I have curly, colored, dry hair. I use in place of my regular conditioner - about 1 tablespoon and work it in well, leave it in for a few minutes and then rinse. It's stronger than regular conditioner and makes my hair less dry.

Wash your hair first (preferably with the olive fruit oil companion shampoo) , rinse well, and apply the deep conditioner, all over the head, and if you're like me, a little extra at the drier ends. Leave in for 2-3 minutes and rinse well. My favorite part about this product is it does really deep-condition in the time allotted. Your hair will look and feel great after this treatment!

I would follow the directions on the product. After trying this product twice, I returned it because I found that it made my scalp itch.
