Ah’-voh-KAH-doh OY-il

Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.

le-min ik-strakt

This bright and zesty citrus fruit has long had a prominent role in cosmetics and aromatherapy. Lemons are high in natural fruit acids and have the highest percentage of Vitamin C of all the fruits. Its extracts from the fruit and essential oil (expressed from the peel) have astringent and antiseptic quality that freshens, stimulates and rejuvenates sluggish skin and adds lustrous shine to the hair. In aromatherapy, lemons inspire a cooling, refreshing and uplifting feeling.

ä-liv froot OY-il

A valuable oil for skin and hair care, olive oil has been used for centuries as a cosmetic and food by peoples of the Mediterranean region. The oil is obtained by cold pressing of ripe olives and it is the first press, or “extra vierge” oil, that is used for creams, lotions, hair treatments and ointments. Extra virgin contains a high level of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E that moisturize, protect and nourish. It is very beneficial for dry, damaged, or split hair.

I read the reviews and was convinced to try it.

this is a great product. I am a male with long hair and I generally do not do anything special with it. That has caused obvious damage, however, after using one jar it has made a considerably positive effect.

Is this product sulfate-free?
christian f on Jun 15, 2012
Best Answer: Yes, it is. The shampoo in this line has sodium laureth sulfate, but the conditioner and this item do not.

is it silicone-free ?
A shopper on Jun 23, 2012
Best Answer: It appears from the ingredient list that the fifth ingredient is amodimethicone, which would indicate a silicone product, although I am not a chemist. Hope this helps.

Do I need to rinse this product off my hair or leave it on after my shower?
ITZEL S on Dec 6, 2012
Best Answer: You will need to rinse, it is definitely not a leave-in conditioner. However, I usually leave it in for several hours on a Saturday or Sunday as my weekly deep-conditioning before rinsing out.

can a 12yr old girl use this product?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2012
Best Answer: I don't see why not, it is a wonderful, "the best" ever product to use after shampooing hair, esp for people with curly hair. I love to layer products and use this first and often add the Kiehl's sunflower conditioner or other favorie products. I always use this one first, Hope she loves it as I do

How should you use this product?
A shopper on Aug 2, 2012
Best Answer: Apply after you shampoo. Remove excess water from your hair, then massage a spoonful of this product. I use it once a week since this product has a stronger conditioning power than your typical daily conditioner.

I need help w/a hair treatment product? I have thinning hair, dyed & highlights, use curling iron, etc.
Bertha O on Jul 26, 2012
Best Answer: I have curly hair with highlights and have been using Kieh's products for years and I love them. Whenever I wash my hair, I always use their shampoos and use this olive fruit oil hair pak after shampoo, plus I add some of the other Kiehl conditioneers for highlighted hair. THey are the absolute best and I have tried so many brands over the years. You will love it

What are the directions for using this product? Thank you.
Susan Y on Apr 15, 2012
Best Answer: Honestly, it depends on the type of hair you have. if you have normal hair, use it once a month. Towel dry hair and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes and rinse. I have curly, colored, dry hair. I use in place of my regular conditioner - about 1 tablespoon and work it in well, leave it in for a few minutes and then rinse. It's stronger than regular conditioner and makes my hair less dry.

How does this product compare to the Olive Fruit Oil conditioner? (Couldn't you just leave the Olive Fruit Oil Conditioner in for a longer period of time?)
Lily C on Apr 8, 2014
Best Answer: The treatment is much more intense than the conditioner. I actually use the treatemnt as my everyday conditioner because I think it works better than the conditioner.

Directions how to use.?
A shopper on May 20, 2013
Best Answer: The package directions suggest leaving it in your hair for 3 minutes or so but after using this product for about a year I have found that I get the best results when I towel dry then apply a generous amount to my hair (concentrating on the ends and hairline) and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour. Rinse and style as usual. The results are fabulous. Soft and silky without that greasy feel that so many intensive treatments leave. I highly recommend this product, especially for blond hair that tends to look oily with many conditioners.
