Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.

This bright and zesty citrus fruit has long had a prominent role in cosmetics and aromatherapy. Lemons are high in natural fruit acids and have the highest percentage of Vitamin C of all the fruits. Its extracts from the fruit and essential oil (expressed from the peel) have astringent and antiseptic quality that freshens, stimulates and rejuvenates sluggish skin and adds lustrous shine to the hair. A valuable oil for skin and hair care, olive oil has been used for centuries as a cosmetic and food by peoples of the Mediterranean region. The oil is obtained by cold pressing of ripe olives and it is the first press, or “extra vierge” oil, that is used for creams, lotions, hair treatments and ointments. Extra virgin contains a high level of healthy monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidant vitamin E that moisturize, protect and nourish. It is very beneficial for dry, damaged, or split hair.
Shampoo hair with Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Nourishing Shampoo. Rinse and apply a generous amount of conditioner to hair, especially the ends. Gently work through hair and leave on for two to three minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Style as usual. If contact with eye occurs, rinse immediately with water.

Yes. I recommend this line of Kiehl's to anyone. I have used it for years. My daughter loves it and she has an oily scalp and very fine, very processed hair. All my hairdressers have loved it! I take it with me for them to use on my hair instead of their products. I can't imagine using anything else. I also use the straightening cream, silk groom serum and climate spray...fantastic!

I try to avoid the scalp when using any conditioner because I tend to have oily scalp. I do color my hair which tends to dry the ends. My hair is not necessarily fine, but I don't have body either. I do use the olive fruit oil conditioner for a nice hair treatment and tend to avoid the scalp.

Excellent for color treated hair. I have dry curly hair that is colored treated and also have well water (not city) and this product works great. I flat iron my hair and there is virtually no friz and my hair is shiny. This is the only conditioner I continue to use!

Have no idea what the product contains. Most Kiehl's products are pretty natural. Love everything I have ever used. The hair conditioner is particularly great for processed, curly, dry hair. I have well water which tends to dry the hair more than "city" water. This product works very well. especially if you flat iron or blow dry.
