Honey is the nectar produced in flowers and then collected and stored by bees. It is composed of a variety of sugars, wax, and other substances, including citric, malic, formic, and lactic acids; beta carotene; enzymes; amino acids and vitamins. It is used as an emollient in skin care and creates a watertight film, allowing skin to rehydrate itself. Moisturizing, softening, sweet and fragrant.

Use both day and night on face and body as needed to help soothe temporary skin irritation after at-home micro-dermabrasion treatments; gentle enough for use by all skin types. Smooth a small amount of the formula gently and evenly onto clean skin. Allow to dry before applying sunscreen or makeup.

Can't say specifically for rosacea but works amazingly for the irritation cause from tattoos ...the mild surface abrasion that occurs with tattoos not only feels better with this product but it heals faster with less peeling and additional irritation.

This cream seems to form a barrier between your skin and the environment. I've found is particularly useful and calming after a day outdoors golfing, hiking or at the beach. It's properties would be similar during air travel, I would imagine.

i absolutely love love this cream! just a little bit goes a long way, i have dry sensitive skin, i exfoliate 3 times per week and it is the only cream that soothes the skin after exfoliation...also great if you tend to burn easily as i do with my irish/english pink skin. it absorbes quickly and doesn't leave a sticky film on your face.
you can find it at sephora (which is where i purchase mine)..... you will NOT be disapointed!

I'm not totally sure, but I don't think so. It's for temporary redness, like sunburn, or chemical burn from facial peels, etc... It calms down temporary redness/irritation. That's all it's supposed to do. Kiehl's does have another product that is supposed to take away scars. It's called Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution is supposed to fade scars. I haven't used it myself, but there's a lot of good reviews about it.
