How to Apply:

Geneva L:No, sorry, this is a treatment with salicylic acid and herbal extracts to help shrink or treat emerging whiteheads/blackheads. If your dark spots/scars are the pigmentation caused by sun exposure, melasma, or acne scars you might want to look at the photo-aging line, clearly corrective line, and products from Kiehl's with vitamin C. jill m:I have not used the spot treatment for that specifically only for trouble spots when they would pop up. It does however work very well on pimples on drying them out and a word of caution if you have sensitive skin use this sparingly because it will dry out the area around the pimple too. Maybe you could look for a more specific acne spot lightener which I know is out there now this may or may not help with the dark marks? Hope this helps...Apr 12, 2013
Nicole Z:I think the Blue Herbal Spot Treatment is aimed more at getting rid of active acne blemishes rather than the scars that they leave. I use it for breakouts (since it is salicylic acid). I'm not an anesthetician but I would think it would cause redness on scars and normal skin.

Lisa M:I don't believe it will diminish brown pigmentation after resolved acne... I believe the verbiage spot is indicated for dab use as in pimple . You may look to a bleaching cream indicating dark spot corrector. Hope this helped .Apr 11, 2013

DF G:I use this product for quickly drying up acne that erupts on my face. It really isn't to reduce the appearance of scars, rather it is used to assist in avoiding getting the scares in the first place by controlling the oils that can cause acne. It is also awesome for Razor Burn issues.
