SILK PAU-d'rs

Silk Powder is obtained from the secretion of silkworms. It is used primarily in skin care products to improve humectancy and oil absorption.

soy-been-oyl

Soybean Oil is one of the most important oils produced today. It contains about 60% polyunsaturated fatty acids and is a good source of Vitamin E, used frequently in soaps and bath oils. The oil obtained by soybeans is extracted, consisting of emollient properties such as oleic, linolenic and saturated acids. Ancient traditions cultivated soybeans for its protein, oil, and lecithin content – believed to be a superior moisturizing agent that helps soften skin.

SUN-flah'-wur OY-il

Sunflower Oil contains beneficial amounts of Phospholipids as well as high concentrations of Ceramides. Its strengthening and protective agents help to further nurture and condition dry or damaged skin. The resilient Sunflower extract is also known to care for sun-exposed and aging skin as a result of environmental aggression.

Desperate for styling help for my fine straight hair. reviews were very positive for people with similar issue.

I have thick, sometimes uncooperative hair - this product truly tames it!
joan f on Nov 19, 2014
This is the only product I've found in 26 years of being alive that works on my extremely thick and difficult hair. Not only does it work, it works amazingly and allows me to change my hair throughout the day. Great product.

This stuff is awesome, I've tried many other pastes and nothing works as well as this.

What is the difference between this product and Kiehl's creative cream wax?

Also, I wanted a sort of quiff look. Stereotypical but kind of like Zayn Malik's hair. I have naturally wavy hair, so I usually straighten it before applying hair product.

When I go to the shop for my hair they mold it then it's hard and dry and will not hold the style my hair feels like sand paper will this product make my hair softer and straight and keep my style?
Kim T on Jun 10, 2014
Best Answer: I have thick, longer hair and this is the only product that I use now. It leaves your hair soft and will still provides some hold. It is a matte finish too, which I prefer over shiny. I don't use a hairdryer, apply after towel drying, comb out and let dry. Once dry, I run wet hands thru it and it is perfect for the rest of the day or night.

wear my hair twisted or braided, looking for something to not look dry, will this be the product?
Valerie B on May 23, 2012
Best Answer: Sounds as though this is not what you're looking for since this is primarily a molding paste--sticky at first but able to shape hair nicely. But since you twist or braid your hair, maybe you're looking for shine that also provides light oil to prevent the dry appearance.

What kind of hold does the Malleable Molding Paste have? Does it give any shine?
A shopper on Apr 19, 2013
Best Answer: I have very thick, coarse, wavy hair. I think the Malleable Molding Paste does a great job of letting me 'direct' my hair and then holds it nicely in place. It is a 'gooey-stringy paste' but rubs right into your hair, and doesn't leave it looking like you have helmet-head - so rigid it doesn't look natural. Also soft enough hold you can actually run your fingers through it afterwards if you want to rather than worrying that your fingers, or someone else's, might get stuck in there permanently. After reading your question about 'shine' I took special note yesterday to see whether or not I thought it did, and I'd say 'yes'. I noticed there was a nice sort of soft gleam most definitely. I also use Kiehl's Crème with Silk Groom for a softer, curly-enhancing styling experience and you definitely get a lovely luster as the product contains silk powders and it seems to enhance your hair's natural highlights.

Does it smell suffocatingly fruity, like walking into a bath & bodyworks?
Abhi J on Sep 14, 2014
Best Answer: I can't tell any smell actually. If there is one it is certainly not overpowering or fruity.

What kind of hold does the Malleable Molding Paste have? Does it give any shine?
A shopper on Apr 19, 2013
Best Answer: It does give a little a shine and a playable texture and hold, however I prefer the creative cream wax, it gives a stronger hold and doesn't cake up or clump. I have not had that problem with the molding paste, but found that the wax did a much bettr job at holding the hair

Can you just wet your hair to reactivate this product?
Cheryl M on Aug 23, 2012
Best Answer: Well, you can but it will lose some of its "hold" - a small amount, but it's still noticeable. You can always apply a little more product after your hair is wet!

PS - I don't have much hair, but the product works great for me.

Is this product good for people with sensative skin? My husband's skin reacts to fragrented hair products, he is looking for a molding paste to use in his hair, something that his skin will not react to.
A shopper on Feb 22, 2013
Best Answer: I have pretty sensitive skin and this product has not adversely affected me whatsoever. Other hair products tend to give me ingrown hairs on my scalp and this hasn't happened with the malleable paste. Good product IMO, but it is very pricey!

What does it smell like?/Is there petroletum in it?
Mike W on Jun 27, 2012
Best Answer: it doesn't smell like anything; scent free.
Not sure about petroleum; you could check the ingredient list.

I love this product. It maintains hold, but doesn't make your hair sticky or unnatural feeling. Once it sets, you can run your fingers through your hair or re-apply. Its a good product.

I'd like to use this on my long kinky coily hair while it's wet to cut down on frizz and big volume once it's dry, but I wonder if this would make my hair look stiff? Would you give it a thumbs up or thumbs down for use on longer hair?
Sherry L on May 23, 2012
Best Answer: I have a different hair type than you, but I feel that the product works better and better as hair gets longer. And the best thing about it is that it leaves hair extremely soft both before and after it sets in; it's very hard to tell that it's even there unless you really look for it.

I have long fine hair that doesn't hold a set. I have tried gels, etc. and was wondering if the Malleable Molding Paste might work? I don't want anything sticky or greasy. Or is there anything else you might recommend?
Thank you,
Vicki
vicki g on Apr 9, 2013
Best Answer: I've used numerous hair gels, sprays, mousse products over many years and I can honestly say that this product is the best that I've ever used. It's somewhat on the thick side when you apply so you only need to use a small dab on your fingers and then rub together with your hand and apply. Once it's on, it's not very sticky or greasy or bothersome in anyway. You just really forget that it's there, only that it works and you don't need to mess with you hair once you have it set. You can style it with blow dry or just put some on your hair and set it yourself. It's not one of those gels that makes your hair all spiky or obnoxious..if that's the look you're going for this is probably not your speed. But if you want something that holds and works well, this would be a great choice. It also lasts quite a long time. I put it on early in the morning when I'm ready to go to work and it stays good until I get home at night or until I hit the showers after the gym.

Try it, you can't go wrong.

Is this good for thick hair that has a spikey look?
A shopper on Dec 15, 2012
Best Answer: I don't use this product to spike my hair, but yes, I think it would work for you. It holds very well. I have short hair and I use this product for my hair behind my head to go back and more or less weave together rather than drop straight down. I hope this helps.

Does this product leave a matte finish?
Ernesto on Dec 30, 2013
Best Answer: Slightly, yes, but it quickly goes away once you let it dry for a few minutes and run your hands through your hair.

Although it says it on the bottle, can I actually just change my hairstyle thought the day? My question in effect is does the product stay malleable after its applied allowing me to just change my hair or mess it up a bit by running my hand through it?
A shopper on Jun 16, 2013
Best Answer: That lose. I've been able too with a little moisture and some more paste, but it's not as if you first applied. It's still a nice product.

I normally do my hair somewhat like Ryan Gosling's or David Beckham's, I was wondering if this product has the right kind of hold for those looks?
Jonathan S on Aug 17, 2012
Best Answer: It'll protect/maintain a hold, but not give you any sort of sheen or wet look at all.
