Octinoxate, also known as Octylmethoxycinnamate or Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, is a popular chemical sunscreen ingredient. An excellent UVB ray absorber, it helps prevent skin from burning in the sun.

Apply liberally to clean, dry skin before sun exposure. (Not intended for use as an eye cream.) Reapply often and after swimming, bathing, or sweating.
