Avocado Oil, derived from the fruit of a tropical American tree, is a rich, fatty-acid emollient. Avocado Oil is known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil. It is also a natural source of Amino Acid proteins, Vitamins A, D, E, and potassium. Helps to restore the natural moisture of the skin.
KOH-koh BUH-tur
Cocoa Butter is a yellowy fat expressed from the roasted seeds of the cocoa plant. It is solid at room temperature but melts at body temperature. It softens and lubricates skin and is used in a variety of skin care formulations.
SHAY BUH-t'r
Shea Butter is the natural fat obtained from the fruit of the African Karate tree and is widely used in lotions and cleansing products for its hydrating properties. Protects skin from dehydration, restores skin's suppleness and improves the appearance of dry skin.
Apply a small amount to dry areas and massage in gently. Allow an excess of the cream to remain on skin as long as possible before blotting. To treat severely dry hands or feet, massage a liberal amount of cream into affected areas; cover with cotton gloves or socks and allow to remain overnight.

I felt the same way when I discovered that Kiehl's had discontinued this marvelous cuticle cream. However, Kiehl's directed me to its Intensive Treatment and Moisturizer for Dry or Callused Areas and I used it throughout the winter. While it is not quite as good as the cuticle cream, it seems to do the job. I do wish, though, that Kiehl's would bring back its cuticle cream!

I don't believe Kiehl's makes the cuticle cream anymore. I buy the Intensive Treatment and Moisturizer specifically for my husband to use on his chewed up cuticles. Since he started using it, his cuticles have improved tremendously. Stop by a Kiehl's counter and ask for a sample to try...
