Sharron T:OK. If you're looking for shine this will not give you the shine unless you use as a combo with the Kiehls Oil Mist. Not trying to sell a product, it's just that I use the morracan oils, and because of its weight it pulls your hair down. Especially, if you are flat and curling and is a great protector. These products are much lighter. The creme conditioner will actually go right into you skin without leaving a shine. While the mist will lay on your hair and go in gradually if you do not wish to rub it in. The smell of the product is in true Kiehls tradition. Smells like the shampoo conditioner so you're not battling smells if you use everything Kiehls. However, it does not get with any of the morracans and cause havoc on your head. I"m not sure how it will work in the humidity. I've got an outside party this weekend and if you're able to check with me again, I can let you know how it held up in this NEW JERSEY heat. This product seems to take it's time working into the shafts of the hair. I don't know if you'll be using it on damp or dry hair prior to styling (I would not by anymeans recommend using this on dry hair without mist if curling) I hope this helps.
