Judith B: I love the Activated Sun Protector Sunscreen for Body SPF 50. It is my go to for arms, legs, back, etc., however, I do not use it on my face. For my face, I use the Kiehl's Super Fluid UV Defense. It is an ultra light sunscreen for everyday use (also SPF 50). I do not use make up remover to remove either product. I do use facial cleanser on my face or Dove soap. I use body wash on the rest of me. I really love both sunscreen products I have mentioned and happily they DO NOT smell like coconut. HSIU-YUAN P: Hello, I simply use a body scrubber to remove sunscreen applied to the body. If applied to the face, as with any other sunscreen, I would highly recommend using an oil-based makeup remover to prevent any clogging of the pores. I hope that helped! Apr 21, 2013

Honestly, I haven't used the Activated Sun Protector Sunscreen for Body SPF 50 on my face to this point. I use it on my arms and legs strictly. I use the Superfluid UV Defense SPF 50+ on my face and top of my head (yes I'm bald now :-)) and the Superfluid is amazing - both products are amazing! The Superfluid goes on so easy, you don't need much and is fantastic protection for my face and head. I have very sensitive skin, so that's why these two products have been so perfect.

I don't see why you couldn't use the Activated Sun Protector Sunscreen on your face, I just haven't because it said for "Body".

Steven S: Yes, the bottle says broad spectrum UVA/UVB. In fact, if you compare the sunscreen ingredients with Kiehl's other SPF 50 face sunscreen the UV filters are exactly the same chemicals in the exactly same percentage. The main difference appears to be a thicker base however no reason you could not try it Jun 15, 2012

Steven S: (Continuing from premature previous submission) just to finish, no reason you could not also try this broad spectrum product on your face and determine if the base is too thick for you. The product also appears to be compliant with new FDA guidelines for sunscreen labels going into effect shortly.

Yiling Y: the facial cleanser i use can remove light facial makeup "Washable Cleansing Milk". i don't think you need something heavy but if you felt the sunscreen can leave something on you're face afterwards you can use makeup remover but i just use the cleanser with makeup remover effect May 12, 2013

barbara C: For me, it has virtually no fragrance, which I like a lot. It goes on beautifully, never feels sticky and lasts for hours. I do have to reapply after a couple of hours in hot sun, but I have never gotten a sunburn and I am VERY fair!
I also love that when I use it on my lips to prevent fever blisters, it doesn't taste awful, the way many lip sun screens do and it works! No fever blisters for me, although I am obsessed with applying it to my lips every hour or so. Apr 11, 2013
