I've used the regular non-SPF Facial Fuel moisturizer for a while now & absolutely love it. My last visit to my local Kiehl's store the lady persuaded me to try this product which I figured was a smart idea to protect my fair skin. Personally I don't think the smell is too bad, although there is definitely a light scent of sunscreen, but it wasn't strong enough to bother me. After using this product for a few weeks alternating with the regular non-SPF Facial Fuel I noticed this product was making me noticeably sweat. I'd pat my forehead with a cloth but it made no difference. This moisturizer is too heavy & doesn't allow my skin to breathe causing the gross sweating. I've tried using a minimal amount, giving ample time after showering to dry & cool off - no difference. Disappointed. Glad I bought the smallest bottle, it will be the last one.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Zoltarswim Stains Clothes! Terrible new Formula
I don't know what they did to this stuff, but it now turns light colored shirts orange. It destroyed my favorite Nautica Oxford and another dress shirt I own as well as 6 of my undershirts. I conducted a controlled experiment by placing a dot of each of the new Kiehls products I was using on a white t-shirt. After Facial Fuel SPF15 dried, there was a large orange dot on the shirt. I washed the shirt multiple times, used spray and wash, and the spot still would not come out. They really made a mistake with this product and I am surprised they didn't catch this during their testing phase. Save your clothes! Don't buy this product!
Rated 4 out of 5 by NolaGeorge Another Kiehl's product I use on a daily basis. Since I was a teenager I was afraid of using sunblock because almost each time I used one I break out. Well, this product is the exception, is not greasy but it could be more sun block effective. I still love it though. And is scent free! (at least that's what I think)

Why oh why didn't I buy 10 of the old Facial Fuel?! The new formula is thick and smells bad. I've used this product for 10 years. On the market for a new moisturizer.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Elinho My best purchase ever
I Will have to desagree with the bad reviews. I understand that people get used to a product and wont like any sort of changes. But to say this smells bad??? Not at all. It doesnt feel heavy either. And guys, the change was for the best cause now it is broadspectrum! Still the smell is great, the texture is great and I never leave home without putting it on. My companion.

I really like this moisturizer, I used to use Tommy Bahama, but they discontinued mine, and this is way better anyway. This is by far the best stuff I have used for my face yet. I get dry skin, but need to be cautious about things being to greasy, and this is absolutely perfect. People may complain about the sunscreen aspect, but I have fair to medium skin and work outdoors frequently, so I would rather have the nice smell with a slight sunscreen smell, then not have the extra protection. By the way, I really don't notice the slight sunscreen smell, and I mean slight, once it is on anyway.

The current Facial Fuel SPF15 makes my face white unless I take 5 minutes to rub (and rub and rub) it in. The basic Facial Fuel moisturizer is great but skip the expensive and ineffective SPF15 version - just a waste of money.

I ordered the biggest tube when my old tube was running out. After three days, I find that the formula is very different. I do not mind the texture which is a little heavier. What bothers me most is the smell. It is no longer classic and clean any more. Instead, it smells like sunscreen. I am confused, so I check the tube again. The design is a little different too. Now the phrase "sunscreen" is highlighted. If Kiehls wants to rebrand the moisturizer as a daily sunscreen, they are doing it the wrong way. They should have just introduced a new product. Instead, they changed the formula without telling us. Now I feel like I bought a $40 sunscreen.
